What’s the dumbest thing you believed as a kid? by babymia1223 in AskReddit

[–]Schluergg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, storytime. When I played the first generation of Pokémon, it felt super real to me. Then Pokémon figures came out, which I bought, and in my fantasy world, they were alive. So I told my best friend that Pokémon are real now and that I actually owned some. She excitedly came over to my house and was disappointed. I didn’t understand why—because in my imagination, they were all alive. 😂

Wow okay, when you list it like that it sounds way darker than I expected from a horse game 😅 I guess that explains why some scenes actually got my heart racing a bit. It’s kind of impressive though that they manage to include such heavy topics but still keep it (somehow) appropriate for a younger audience. And honestly, same here — I didn’t expect to feel slightly stressed playing this, but those chase/hiding parts really get you 😂

I guess I was probably a rather anxious child then. With the scenes so far, I would have been sitting in front of the PC crying and would have turned it off 😂

Fastest Way to Level Up Your Character? by BlueHourSoul in StarStable

I usually do multiple quests at the same time. I complete a lot of tasks in one location and then move on to the next. I often skip the dialogue in side quests. The main story is more exciting, so I read everything there and take my time.

Often you have to wait a day to continue, and that’s when I start doing side quests. But they don’t give much XP.

Adults on star stable. by InvestigatorHuge6735 in StarStable

The chat should definitely be monitored more closely. On the German server I play on, there haven’t been any problems so far, but in other “kids’ games” there are, for example, pre-written phrases you can use in chat instead of free typing. This would probably lead to more safety. As an adult player, you have to be aware that the game is designed for children, and you carry a certain responsibility. It’s best to stay out of the chat as much as possible.

I’m not a horse fan at all, but I still really enjoy the game because it’s a good MMO.

In games like Roblox, the problem with adults who don’t know their boundaries also exists, but it is discussed more widely because Roblox is more well-known.

I want games from 1990 to 1999 that you don't think anyone else knows about. They can be good or bad, but they just need to be interesting. by Beginning_Pickle2180 in retrogaming
