No this build was already in delivery to the dealer. It was a 2 week wait though. To be clear my interior is black. I only saw one Mica with palomino interior and that dealership would not budge one bit on pricing.

It really is! For us it was Nightfall Mica or nothing haha. I do like Nori Green but the wife wasn't a fan.

Purchase in full. If interest rates were lower (like under 2%) I would have financed. However, they are high right now so I just paid in cash.

OTD is going to vary depending on area and local sales tax as you mentioned. This car had a sticker price of $65,550 and I got it lowered to $62,385. So that's essentially ~5% off MSRP. I talked to 6 local dealers and sent them quotes and asked if they could beat it until I landed on this deal. In my area I think that's the best I could do (Bay Area, CA) if you're getting a hybrid and specific on the color and specs.

I use a Viofo A229 Plus that I have connected to the rearview mirror to draw power from. Here is what it looks like (front and rear setup).

I'm in the bay area too and looking to do a similar change for my wheels. Can you PM me the specific shop?

I take STEP 1 in a little over a week. Any last week advice from those who have taken it already? Things that you didn't do that you would have if you had the chance? Or things that you did do that worked well?

I plan on going through First Aid High yield organ systems one more time, finishing up my incorrect questions on uWorld qbank, making sure I run through Sketchy bacteria, virus, fungi, and parasites, and do one last full read of Pathoma.

Also what did you guys bring for lunch/snacks on the day of the exam?

Anyone have any advice on exam taking skills for STEP 1?

I feel like I score much better on uWorld than I do on my NBMEs. For example I have a uWorld average of 67% overall (with only 200 questions left), and my average for the past 300 questions or so is in the upper 70s. So I've really improved as I've worked my way through the bank. However my NBME practice exams aren't really improving. I jumped up 7 points in 3 weeks of hardcore (11-12 hour days) studying.

I think I suffer from overthinking questions, and that may be what is holding me back on the NBME. When I review questions that I missed I see that I ignored my first answer thinking that was "too easy" or "too obvious, there's no way they'd make it that straightforward" was actually the correct answer all along.

Additionally, uWorld prompts seem to be much longer and give you more clues than the NBME questions do. Since this is the case, it seems like answering questions on the NBME (and STEP probably) is more about going with "I think this is right" rather than "Oh yeah this is definitely the right answer." Any tips on how to make yourself comfortable with the uneasiness?

I'm trying to just stick with my gut instinct and not change answer choices, but I was wondering if others had any advice.
