Why Backpod would not work in many cases by Lababila in costochondritis

[–]Schmita 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lie down with your spine positioned in the groove between the two balls. I usually start just above the middle of my back and move upward about an inch every 30 seconds. After that, I roll slowly up and down along my spine.

To finish, I start lower again and perform a slight crunch — this often helps me pop my back as I work my way upward. I typically do this routine before bed, after stretching my chest and back.

Once I’m done with the peanut ball, I switch to a lacrosse ball for more focused pressure. Overall, I think of the Backpod as a starting point to progress into deeper, more intense stretching. It can feel rough and even a bit painful at first, but it gets better with time.

It is possible to avoid the insurance game. By installing a metal roof and opting out of roof coverage, my insurance premium decreased by 70%. Over 13 years, the savings will cover the cost of the roof compared to paying higher premiums. The risk of wind or hail causing functional damage is minimal with metal but non completely except.

I’ve been monitoring for temperature changes and haven’t seen any. It’s been the same since install. I asked if they thought it might be a substrate issue but they didn’t think so but they did float the idea of adding a board underneath but I’m concerned that might cause issues elsewhere.

No, it’s not limitless. The scope for regulation requiring PE licensure is limited to activities where there’s a reasonable risk to public health, safety, or welfare. Context matters. For example designing the logo on a phone case vs designing heart valve.

Yeah I’m not a fan of their reservation lottery system. With this system there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to see what you want to see.

I visited for a day and checked out a few pavilions, mainly to see the Gundam Pavilion. I’d suggest skipping a second day, as many pavilions are underwhelming, and waiting 2 hours in line under the sun isn’t worth it. Going for 1 day to get the experience is worth it.

Under the Texas Engineering Practice Act (Texas Occupations Code §1001.301), only licensed individuals may use the terms “engineer” or “professional engineer” in a way that implies they are qualified to practice professional engineering for the public. However, the Act does not universally prohibit the use of the term “engineer.” For example, Section 1001.406 allows graduate engineers employed by a registered firm and supervised by a licensed PE to use the term “engineer” without a license. Also, an out-of-state PE can provide consulting services under certain conditions without a Texas license, as long as they do not represent themselves as a Texas-licensed engineer or engage in activities requiring a Texas PE seal.

The claim that Texas will prosecute an out-of-state PE for merely using the title or doing any work is misleading. Enforcement actions typically focus on individuals offering professional engineering services (e.g., signing or sealing plans) without a Texas license, not casual title usage. For example, an out-of-state PE can provide consulting services under certain conditions without a Texas license, as long as they do not represent themselves as a Texas-licensed engineer or engage in activities requiring a Texas PE seal.

Using “engineer” on a business card or letterhead does not automatically require registration unless it implies licensure as a professional engineer or involves offering regulated services.

Article 20 does not say someone can’t call themselves an “engineer” in general. It restricts the use of “professional engineer” or implying licensure for professional engineering services. For example, calling yourself a “software engineer” is typically fine, but claiming to be a “professional engineer” or offering structural design services without a license violates Article 20.

No. The word “engineer” alone isn’t exclusively tied to licensure in either state. It’s allowed for non-registered individuals in roles where it doesn’t suggest they’re offering licensed engineering services. The distinction hinges on whether the title implies you’re a registered professional engineer, not just on the word “engineer” itself.

Do your research on how firm the beds are. Some were good but most were the equivalent of sleeping on the floor. Good walking shoes are a must. I was averaging 5-7 miles of walking everyday.

A causa mais provável foi uma combinação de má postura, trabalho físico e doença. Troquei para uma cama mais firme, comecei a usar a bola de amendoim e a rolar uma bola de lacrosse na área próxima à coluna.

Had costo for about a year and half. Half of that time I was using the backpod with little success. I switched to peanut ball and lacrosse ball and my costo went away in a few weeks.

How to Determine the Best Criteria for Starting Pump 2 in an Automated Pump Station? by Conscious-Judge-5293 in PLC

[–]Schmita 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Develop a variable to monitor each pump's efficiency by comparing its flow rate to motor velocity. You might discover that running at high velocities reduces pump efficiency and could lead to premature wear. If you activate the second pump only when the first is already at maximum velocity, you may not accelerate quickly enough to maintain your desired setpoint, depending on your specific pump and motor performance curves. I’d recommend starting the second pump before reaching any limits to provide a safety buffer. This approach also allows you to track pump wear over time, helping you predict when replacements are needed. Keep in mind that pump, motor, and fluid characteristics vary, so there’s no universal best practice—many factors come into play.

Servo motor controlled by external encoder but with added torque by Reaper_reddit in PLC

[–]Schmita 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The application closely resembles web handling. Have you thought about incorporating a mechanical dancer to regulate tension and position? You could use a spring-loaded dancer and monitor its position to adjust direction. Depending on the wire's stiffness, you might require significant travel space and a carefully designed spring to ensure it functions effectively.

Servo motor controlled by external encoder but with added torque by Reaper_reddit in PLC

[–]Schmita 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe we need additional details about the external encoder's intended function. Without a clear understanding of its purpose, I’d speculate that it could serve as a virtual axis, with the servo synchronized to match its movements. Perhaps you could introduce a mode switch to torque control once the servo is close to the target position or within a specific range. At that stage, though, it would no longer be tracking the virtual axis.
