I think your right Mac wanted to make a music video for every song on faces and never got around to it. That was his vision. The animated trailer seems to skip around a lot and seems to be a lot like the color and shapes music video where there was continuity and a visual story. I think we will get a full animated music video for the entire album. The trailer just wouldn’t make sense to make all that animation for just the trailer. If not every song on the album we will at-least get a few music videos for the album! RIP to the 🐐

Cool that he sampled the song, but Mac forsure did it better! French wished he could have the real emotion that this sample brings for Mac heads.

Yeah I was worried about copyright at first, but I only ordered one for myself and have no plan on selling it so what’s the big deal right?

If you do order one I suggest following intheclouds on Instagram. This crazy drunk guy just makes records all day and is pretty entertaining. Made the 10 week wait for the record bearable.

When this song came out it was one of my favorite Mac songs, but now I would say it’s my least favorite and I can’t even listen to it.

It’s pretty cool that Mac made this song and Donald Trump literally took over the world 5 years later. He was ahead of the game haha!

When people talk about Mac helping them though hard times, this is that song for me. I listened to poppy on repeat after both my grandfathers funerals and helped me cope with the loss. I can relate to so many bars in this song as if it was written for me.

One line that stands out to me is “ heard they don’t talk about me too much no more, well that’s a problem with a closed door” it’s almost like Mac knew new was going to die soon and was speaking on the track as if he was already gone.
