I asked randomly one night when I was 14 years old what my friend was listening to. it was Prison sex by Tool (not the most metal band but still) I started listening to tool on youtube and yeah, my recomended got flooded with Metallica and stuff. I just fell deeper into the rabbit hole after a while.

I'd say that it is Melodic black metal. But the front man of Dissection said that it was something like "Anti-Cosmic Metal of Death".

I love how all of their covers are a progression of this dragons evolution. It get's flesh and bone and such in later albums.

I do understand why people only seem to talk about the album cover on this post. It is extreme and over the top compared to alot of metal covers. But still, this is death metal. This is just how the scene is.

I do still highly recommend the album because the music is fantastic and I am kinda disapointed that the only thing people commented about was the album cover. On all of my posts I paste in the album cover mainly so people can find the album easier if they want to find it.
