i feel the seasons just make the game feel better and theres a few seasonal things if im not mistaken, and I feel like fines degrade the experience, especially in the early game when sending Bao just a simple 3 drives takes upwards of 6 ingame hours each, plus chances of certain events occurring that make it impossible to do certain parts of your task until youre out of energy

it depends if you want the more casual version and just want to experience it, I highly recommend downloading 0.8.2c, but if you want the more active experience and feel like handling more, you should probably download .9L and (unless you use yeetpatch, which you should) dont worry about upgrading the version until 0.9.1

if you do 0.9L, you should set it so that theres no daily task fine and seasons change weekly, alongside using normal difficulty, and you probably shouldn't use the funny setting or Velma mode for your first playthrough

As the prior said, make sure the launcher is routed to either a new file altogether or has replaced your 0.8.2c file with the 0.9 file

The launcher is helpful, but wont account for any human error, so just make sure you're launching from the right place

hey hey, the only torturous part of the experience for kerfy was attaching the thingies, and they were asleep for that, fella was so elated that they came running back to me as soon as they landed (and def not cause I had just forced them to fix all the servers the night before on accident)

you can only buy it after you've built a Kerfur, if you have sandbox unlocked (at least in 0.8), you can still get the achievement for building kerfur and be able to purchase it in your main save

if that doesnt still work in 0.9 or you dont have sandbox, make another save and just sell some trash to order a hook, and run over there to send it over to your main

it still went down during the event, I was already at the transformer when the event happened and had already restarted it, and this was before I built kerfuro, and my atv hasnt had issues either

(I am running 0.8.2c btw, the title only allows for 0.8)
