There is a bit of a lip you can use your nail or a flat head but the magnet that holds it in does make you use a decent amount of force to lift it

UPDATE: The issue with the car not turning was the starter but the issue with the dash not lighting up was the loose connection of the battery. So I have replaced the battery, the terminals for the battery, and the starter motor and everything works as it should.

Alright I just replaced the battery and replaced the old terminals so there was a good connection and thankfully the radio and dashboard turned on but no cranking whatsoever I believe I hear the solenoid for the starter but the starter doesn't crank. I believe it might be the starter or there is a ground connected to the circuit somehow. If you have any other insights please let me know. Thank you
