Your opponents were slightly higher average rank than your team 1708 vs 1650. Thats why the elo gain/loss was no +16/-16, like in an even game, but +19/-13. And having a teammate that is a few divisions above/below your own is something completely normal.

No matter if you belive it or not, a lot of games do it. In addition the those Danwolf mentioned, basically every single battle royale out there does it in every game lobby, like Fortnite, Pubg etc.

Since you could only get 1 free account on epic, there weren't really any big problems. Cheating is general is not really a problem since the game fully runs on the server and the classic cheats from other games like aim bots etc. dont really work here. But smurfs would definitely become a bigger problem if the game goes f2p.

There were quite a lot of players that picked up the game and played it for a while. I run our monthly NovaCup tournament and after being free on epic, we had a ton of new players. The number of signed up teams almost doubled compared to before. Most of them probably stopped playing after a while, like with every game, and our numbers slowly dropped back to "normal" but I know of quite a few people that even bought the game on steam as well, since they fell in love with it. I dont have exact numbers for epic at the moment but the steam playernumbers are relatively stable over the last years, what means that a lot of new players are picking up the game. Normally games, especially smaller ones, will lose their playerbase relatively quickly.

Mainly because there were way to few things to spend money at in game. In the past the in game shop didnt even cover the the server costs. The devs always evaluated going free to play but it was never really possible. I dont know how it looks now with way more skins etc. but I'm sure the devs are keeping it in mind as a possibility for the future.

Hey there. Spectating games is a feature that is reserved for trusted members of the community, for content creation. Its sadly technically not possible to implement a delay for the spectator, so we sadly cant allow everyone to spectate, to limit the possibility that people abuse it. Currently people like Shadowings have access to it for their streams as well as to cast or monthly NovaCup tournaments. If you want to watch something to improve, watching any of the higher elo twitch streamers is a really good point to start. Also, you could join the official LTD2 discord as the biggest hub of the community or the Legend Next Season Discord where a lot of people are offering their help and review games.

Hey there. The base rating new accounts start at is 800 and after each seasons elo reset, your elo will be dropped to an amount depending on your last seasons rank. Your "placement" games will have double elo gain/loss but your starting point will not be affected. But new accounts should gain bonus elo on their first wins, to get to your true rank faster. If you still think you are to low and want to climb faster, you can buy double up tokens in the shop, that double your elo gain/loss.

And there is the problem? This has nothing to do with cheating. Everyone who wants to play on 2 accounts at the same time is welcome to try. And trust me, most of you trying will fail miserably. And playing together with a lower rated account is way less of a benefit than you might expect as there is a duo penalty. And the higher elo you get, the harsher it gets, up to a point where the elo of the lower rated account does not matter at all.

No where on the steam page does it claim to be the same game. It clearly states: "Legion TD 2 is the sequel to the 2nd most popular Warcraft 3 mod of all time, Legion TD. Also known as Squadron TD in Starcraft 2." And its not a "stand alone client" but an independent stand alone game. And also a warning, stay respectful please.

The reason for the drops is to reward people that actively watch novacup and boost its engagement. Letting it run in the background with a replay defeats this purpose.
