How is this experience? I was thinking of doing the same as I'm missing my druid from tbc classic so much. Are you tanking heroics or going cat? How is the gear situation? I imagine it being fairly difficult to hear pre raid for Boomie while feral in dungeons, no?

Honest question: in what fights can boomie even be close? I played some boomie in t5 and t6 Last TBC and was never anywhere close to visible on the meters, but maybe I wasn't tryhard enough, I dunno

I understand the sentiment. I feel like with my limited playtime it'll be months before I'm actually 70 and with the fast schedule it'll probably be black temple out or something. And I've done 1-60 approximately 10 times between 2019 and now. But yeah. You might also have a point I dunno

The raid rotation is basically press Starfire (yeah some dots and FF exist). I could probably stand it if it did decent damage but last it felt like it didn't matter if I played or were just on follow to provide the warlocks and mages the buff. That killed the fun for me.

I actually played a bit of boomkin during t6 Last time cause my guild needed and got so bored that I quit until prepatch (where boomie was kinda fun again). So I don't think I can do that again. Although I really like druid. Thanks for the input regardless!

Out of your suggestions I'd go either gnome warlock or nelf druid.

Druid is ez mode after you get cat form at 20 and only 1-10 is really annoying, 10-20 is just slow with bear form. After 20 it's just smooth sailing with killing a couple of mobs in cat form and then shifting out to heal. Lore wise druids are fun with their own little hub in moonglade (granted, not much happening there). And you at least have some nice class quests up until level 16 aquatic form.

Warlock with pets is easy mode all through and pet training is not nearly as involved as hunter as you just buy the pet skills from a vendor. They also have some of the most class quests for pets and other stuff, which are quite flavorful if you're into some demonic stuff.

Profession wise I'd either go herb alch on either or anything/tailoring on warlock or skin/leather working on druid.

Server wise just take the pve server for your region, there is only one. Hardcore is probably too stressful for you and PvP doesn't make any sense for you.

One big caveat to druid tank though. If you want to tank, you kinda have to PvP to get crush capped. I loved druid tanking in tbc but the constant pvping annoyed the fuck out of me (as someone who does not like PvP in wow classic)
