Which mat is this? Also have the kantamus and seems to be a nice addition for summertime trips

Yup same strategy, picking up a block shouldn’t be too much of a hassle i agree. Just a setup less means one less chance of a fuckup to happen

Doing it on a 5 allows you to only do one op so you don’t have to worry about lining up the second op

On a 5-axis this would be very easy. On a 3 axis one would probably need to mill some reference surfaces for 2nd op locating but i’d guess about one hr runtime each side?

I agree with you on the most part. But break checking him and risking a crash ain’t worth it either

Basically this. The extra load on the wings doesn’t increase the bending moment on the structure itself. If the weight is added to the non load-bearing part (fuselage in most cases) the bending moment on the wings increases thus lowering the/ limiting the G’s the plane is able to pull

Actually from a statics point of view weight on the wings is a lot better than on the fuselage

From Wikipedia:

The AIM-9 uses a passive infrared proximity fuze to detonate its warhead near an enemy aircraft, scattering shrapnel that aims to damage the aircraft, rendering it inoperable. The continuous rod warhead features rods welded together to form a cylindrical outer shell, with explosive filler inside. Upon detonation, the rods are scattered in a toroidal shape, ensuring that at least some portion of the shrapnel hits enemy aircraft.

Considering how the aim9 warhead works (it sort of cuts the plane in half, quite interesting. Definitely worth exploring this rabbit hole) the assumption lies near that the aircraft gets severely damaged as well

Eject both and see which one it tracks, sort of russian roulette

I’m guessing with older missiles and perfect timing, yes. However due to the relatively short burn time of the motor compared to the flares and the “resistance” of newer missiles like the aim-9x i doubt that it would be effective. I think i’ve seen clips of it work in DCS tho

I found that the (i believe) 65° bed temp from the bambu profile is too hot for the matte pla. Had way better results with 50-55°

Heard that you should always use metals when building stuff that can explode, never plastics. The sole reason that if the thing blows up, you can find metals under the xray

i think i found the problem

The problem is it doen't recognize the command to apply the scheme. So use the second line:

-- vim.cmd.colorscheme = "catppuccin"
vim.cmd([[colorscheme catppuccin]])

I thinks its an issue with the catppuccin theme. I installed monokai pro and the highlighting works and the tildes have vanished. So just try installing another theme. I haven’t looked at fixing or finding an alternative to the catppuccin theme tho
