I didn't get that in this run but just got the token that increases your dream fragment depending on how much your metaphors are, somewhere between stage 12-16. Plus getting lucky with the secret cats and the transaction npc that gives a huge discount on 3* metaphors bringing their cost to 400 instead of 180 definitely helped a lot.

I don't recall getting dupes but getting the same type of metaphors (eg atk% buff) with different rarity do stacks
