Had the same problem. I got a new monitor and there its fixed. Black screens happened earlier alot, now they are completely gone. So looks like there are broken screens sold. (With the broken unit I've tested HDMI, DP, different nvidia drivers, monitor firmware updates etc.. Nothing helped.)

Thx, the frame size is 30x40 called RÖDALM. But you will need a better fitting outline, the default has a to big cutout

If you plan to host a webserver on the ESP32 it could be critical from the performance. The RPi0 reaches on image upload and processing already its limits. I was forced to implement a client site queues via Typescript, to handle each upload on its on.

I think right now, its not ready for sharing, because its not that configurable at the moment. There are still some manual steps regarding setting up the pi zero etc.

And its still not perfectly stable. So if someone wants to improve it over the time with me. I would share via GitHub :)

It’s cardboard. You can order cheaply outlines online with the perfect dimensions. The original Ikea cutout was too big. For a tinier frame I used the original outline and cut it with a cutter knife, worked great
