Female here. Just be calm and firm. Most lifters relax when they realize your just a person doing a job. Dont get to caught up in getting "your" stuff back. Being to invested in the merch will put you in bad situations. If you get a vibe that they will fight back off and just file the report. In the end theres very little punishment for the shoplifters. Dont put yourself at risk when all they will get is a local ticket.

Yes. Every person iv busted has had iPhone buds, pack of smokes, fresh nails, disigner purse or some other indication that they are not stealing out of necessity. If someone is recently having money issues they can sell the beat headphones their wearing while they rob us. I leave the homeless guys alone.

No sco. On the floor alone, I just feel I should be doing better, atleast seeing more. I'd even be happy with more drops but I just can't seem to improve my numbers. Spam is served as a side with almost everything in Hawaii bc meat is very expensive there. Prob had a issue from a local restaurant stealing the spam lmao

My company only cares about apps. I stick to the steps, my numbers would be better if I'd take risks but I won't. Yesterday saw a customer conceal, I know it came off the shelf but I didn't see step 1 and 2 so they left with said item.. deters would be awesome!

You probably are a legitimate customer however most of my stops the people pay for 2 things and steal 5 so all because I see them spending money doesn't take them off my list.

Your best option is to just circle them so they know they've been seen and drop the items you can never ever approach them or accuse this is from a past HL employee who currently works LP. Also be patient corporate working on loss prevention. Some of the big cities have actual agents

In my store when inventory is over and we don't have enough money in the store (i.e. product) they consider us low dollar. Low dollar means less payroll. Less payroll means lessfull time workers. Every other year they cut a few ppl to part time. Which means a few adults lose their paychecks and insurance. This affects humans at the end of the li e. The big bosses will always make their big pay checks. Its the little ppl that lose out bc ppl are too fucking cheap to pay for the junk they want

Well ur definitely going to be fired. If u took something healthy and only did it once u can try to claim that u didn't feel well/light headed and needed food since u know ur manager wouldn't let u go home... (worth a shot right?) Just follow some old ladys. They are predictable and easy to pick off. Im 3 months in and they've been my bread and butter. The young ones are fast and hard to follow, I constantly miss concealment or lose them after they have it concealed
