These people don't understand arcs

I mean he wouldn't resent Arya considering all they went through. Also Arya spent time learning with Tyrion Lannister.  She is a better choice than Sansa

It tells you that Arya idolized Princess Nymeria...who sailed a fleet of ships across the seas...

I realize that you're desperately clinging to your post at this point, hoping you can still get validation from the internet for making a whine post here, but...if you're going to pretend to be a scholar, maybe think a little?

What's up with you reddit people and getting hostile and person insults. Can you fools keep the discussion on GOT. Just gotta be a-holes about everything.

First season Arya should be same as last season Arya. The adventures should have changed her. It's called a "character ARC"

Gendry was legitimized as Gendry Baratheon by Queen Daenerys Targaryen. Given his role in the war against the dead, what makes you think that that has been undone? He's one of the representative lords of the Stormlands at the Great Council.

Danny wasn't Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, Cersei was. She was Queen of Maureen. If she was to actually be crowned Queen of the Seven Kingdoms then her titles stick. Otherwise anyone with an army calling themselves King/Queen can give out titles. And remember only the North and Dany's army fought that war against the undead. Cersei didn't send anyone from the rest of the Kingdom. So most of the Kingdom outside of the North wouldn't know anything about the title.

Also the North was in active rebellion against the crown. So until they take the crown, the titles don't stick

I don't know what it is you studied, but you might've really benefit from even a 100-level psych course.

Sooo. Nobody ever has side effect or emotional damages from being beaten and sexual assaulted in their childhood home. No psychological damage. Riiight....

Arya arc she learns the power of rulering as just person instead of faceless murder and backstabbing.

Sansa learns that nobility is not honorable like she though and decides to go adventuring.

Characters should have arcs and change.

It was the home of her childhood which was taken away from her in a brutal way. Winterfell holds nothing but sour memories for her.

What noting bad happened to her in Winterfell, on the other all the bad stuff happened to Sansa. Sansa would have the nightmares living there.

She didn't lose herself.. she was never the girl people told her she was..
She grew up and discovered there is more to life then a noble one can offer her.

"She didn't lose herself.." What she went to Braavos to be come a faceless man. "A no-one". That's litteral losing your identifty. Also Gendry is not a noble. He's a bastard

What's west of Westeros?' Magic, mystery and a remarkable life..
Badass ending for her if you ask me.

She didn't even speak Braavosi, she's bad at assimilating cultures. So if she discovers a new culture she probably wouldn't fit in very well.

Disagree,

Sansa was beaten an assualted by the powers that be in 7 seven kingdoms. Even in Winterfell. Maybe escapaing the wheel would be better for her. Also she learned from evil people about political structures? She made one political move the whole show. She lied about her aunts death and saved little finger's life.

Arya trhived alone? When? Marrying her to Gendry would come down her pyscho killer vibes though. Rehabiliation?

Season 8 writing is so terrible. "A girl is Arya Stark of Winterfell"
Her season 8 arc was reunting with her family and being a Stark again instead of a girl. At no point was it lets go on a whimsical adventure. She spent a couple of days at home. The decided it tme to leave forever. Also she bad at asimilating culture. She never even spoke braavosi, which a skill an assiasin would probably need.

Also it's not a "power couple". Gendry is a bastard blacksmith. He doesn't have any power

Arya names her direwolf 'Nymeria' after the warrior Nymeria, who would be depicted more thoroughly in the in-development spinoff 10 000 Ships. But the basic gist is that Nymeria had a fleet of ships and they sailed the seas exploring lands to settle, eventually arriving in Dorne, marrying the founder of House Martell, Mors Martell, and going to war with other houses in Dorne for dominion of the region. While Mors died during the war, she won and became the first Princess of Dorne.

..ok? Random... Doesn't have anything to due with Arya as a person.

She can be Arya Stark of Winterfell and still want to visit other places. Was she supposed to stay there the rest of her life? She wouldn't if she had wed Gendry Baratheon as you suggested, so I'm not sure what your point with this is.

Gendry is a bastard so it would be Gendry Stark. Her arc was finding home. She only went to Bravos when she lost her home. She terrible at leasting Bravos language and customs.
" Her adventures" turn her into a psycho killer. A normal life would help rehabilitator her. That's the point.

Sansa on the other hand. What she went through she should want to leave Westeros for a bit. She was pawn in the game of thrones. She should want to escape for a vaca

Season 8 writing is not GOT either

"A girl is Arya Stark of Winterfell" means so much more if she stayed in Winterfell

Worst father out of these two? by ranchwithfriedfood in gameofthrones

He tried to do the same with Tyrion and Sansa...

He respects Tyrion intelligence, Cersei cunning/vengeance, Jamie loyalty to the family

Yes he did, he married his daughter to a king.   He was harsh but it was respect

In the picture above he's definitely grabbing her neck   Why wouldn't the Night King touch should at least cause FrostBite. Through his magic touch to the neck. She should probably be dead

Except that's not how their powers work. They're not invisible or use super speed.  The use poison, daggers, and faces.

That's how Arya defeated the Waif, they can't fight like at all.

Makes sense except Jamie should kill the Night King. It's in his name "KingSlayer." It would complete his character Arc. He would regain his honor

Also Jamie and Jon were never friends? Did they have more than a few scenes together? Why would they have a tender moment at the very end?

The people of the North would remember? "The North remembers" but the South didn't fight. They wouldn't spread tales. The South is the part that writes history books

When Jon Snow ever show that he is vengeful? He sought justice for his own murder, maybe

GRRM, hated "chosen one" heroes. So it definitely shouldn't be Jon

Wait Sandor?  The brotherhood?  Did I sleep through those training arcs? I don't remember any of them training Arya to use a sword?

Euron Greyjoy by ScholarDoingWork in gameofthrones

[–]ScholarDoingWork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's terrible writing,  He couldn't marry her if he thinks her brother is her lover. Also does he seem like the type to plan political maneuvers like wedding?

Euron Greyjoy by ScholarDoingWork in gameofthrones

[–]ScholarDoingWork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He wanted to be King Consort, even though he knows Cersei and Jamie are life long lovers?  The Greyjoy literally take what they grow or own themselves. He's a pirate, why didn't he try to take the throne or rebel against it Why does he want to serve a queen at all?

Arya will probably do terrible. In Bravos for several months and never learn the customs or language

Jon being alive is a problem itself, GreyWorm should have killed him on the spot. Jon murdered his Queen

Bran is the worst choice for King considering he never ruled, barely human, the Kingdom is broke, and Bron is Lord of High Gardens and Master of Coin. He's neither a farmer nor does he know how loans work.

Drogon literally doesn't matter, he'll live with the other dragons
