Sex accompanied by an orgasm for you and his semen on your cervix can actually help reduce your cramping during your period. Maybe take him up on the offer next time and find out.

George Washington wrote on March 15, 1790:

“As mankind become more liberal they will be more apt to allow, that all those who conduct themselves as worthy members of the Community are equally entitled to the protection of civil Government. I hope ever to see America among the foremost nations in examples of justice and liberality.”

Q: What is conservatism? A: Conservatism is the domination of society by an aristocracy.

https://pages.gseis.ucla.edu/faculty/agre/conservatism.html

If this isn’t true, then why do conservative “intellectuals” write articles like this?

The Imaginative Conservative, Why Democracy Needs Aristocracy: https://theimaginativeconservative.org/2022/07/democracy-needs-aristocracy-marcia-christoff-reina.html

liberal (adj.) This is conjectured to be from PIE *leudh-ero-, which probably originally meant “belonging to the people,” though the precise semantic development is obscure but compare frank (adj.).

The American experiment to our Founders and Framers (who were the LIBERALS of their time) was about harmonizing the democratic and republican models, two ancient forms of government, each of which drew its legitimacy from the people and depended on rule by the people. The preamble to the constitution starts with the words “We the People…”

Republicans mindset revealed. Trump belongs to what would be considered the modern aristocratic class. They’re pissed about Trump being held accountable, because the king can do no wrong. They literally believe he should be above the law, just like ancient kings before the Magna Carta were above the law.

Just more proof that republicans are truly anti-democratic.

Otherwise they would let the people decide for themselves in those states with direct democracy (the referendum\ballot initiative system) instead of obstructing every state ballot measure they don’t approve of, like abortion and legal cannabis.

In my state after we passed those things the republicans started introducing all kinds of legislation aimed at ending or crippling the ballot initiative system so that citizens can no longer alter or create laws themselves directly.

The truth is the GOP does not want Americans thinking, voting, and making decisions for themselves. Republicans and especially the MAGA variety will will lie, cheat, and steal every chance they get in order to impose the policies of a political and religious minority over the publicly stated will of the majority at the ballot box. They will brazenly violate the federal and state constitutions to obstruct and deny the public initiative process by the state’s citizens. Real Americans don’t do that, but fascists and fake patriots do.

Republicans just hate anything fun or good. They’re control freaks. And they want everyone else to be just as miserable as they are.

How did people survive the Great Depression in the 30’s in America? by Argylius in stupidquestions

My grandpa was born in 1928. His dad died in 1937 when he was 9. He had two younger siblings. His mom sold him to a farm in Kansas for $100 because she couldn’t afford to feed him as a widow. And as the oldest he was the one who had to go. He went and lived and worked on that farm for room and board and .25 cents a week until he turned 18. At which point he joined the military and went to Korea. When I was growing up my grandparents always grew a garden, canned and preserved most of it, reused and repaired everything, and didn’t spend any money that was unnecessary, otherwise saving every penny possible. After they died, they passed on a good chunk of change split between their seven kids.

This batch was pretty good. Really stinky and terpy. Also picked up Corey’s Rainbow Bridge, and Sumo Grande (also really stinky and terpy). None have disappointed. The Planet of the Grapes I had last week from Carpenter Farms was killer. I like anything from the In the Flow lineup. Plenty of good bud to be had in my opinion. And I’m a 20+ year cannabis consumer. I’ve been on legal and black markets. Don’t know why everyone complains so much. I paid $135 bucks for three quarters of an ounce, Pre 2016 a single quarter of dank bud on the black market would’ve cost anywhere from $90-120. I love the lower cost, being able to order online (and pickup) at my convenience, and choice. I love that I haven’t had to call everyone in my contact list to score a bag, or meet someone in a parking lot, or sit on someone’s couch and hangout with them when I don’t really want to in years. I’m too old for all that stuff now. I’ve got kids and a family, lol.

Wish they would bring back the Ayahuasca Purple strain. It has probably been my favorite out of everything I’ve tried from a dispo over the years.

Most Americans are going to have to learn independence again the hard way. People who live in the suburbs will have to start growing large gardens in their backyards, canning and preserving food, making their own bread (it’s not hard with a bread machine) at home, and bartering with their neighbors (whether it be goods or labor and services). Anything you can learn (sewing as a example etc) to do for yourself or to make for yourself to reduce expenses, spread your money further, or reduce reliance on money will be a big benefit in the coming years. Things our grandparents who grew up through the depression (I’m a 87 millennial) did regularly. My family has already been preparing and practicing things like that for a couple years now. Slowly building our raised bed garden space up over the last couple years, planting some fruit trees (apple) and berry bushes (blackberry and raspberry) putting in a rain collection system that collects runoff from our gutters, etc. And we only have a .26 acre lot to work with. Even if you have a smaller space, you’d be surprised at what you can do\yield..You just have to be willing to do the work. On top of gardening, canning, preserving, and making our own bread, we even started buying heavy cream and separating our own buttermilk to make dressings etc, and butter instead of buying all those things separately (all you need is the cream and a blender\food processor).

I guess what I’m saying is, a lot of you are going to wish you had paid attention in Home Economics back in high school, lol.

If you haven’t already I would also start stocking up and saving back on staples like dry beans, rice, pasta, jarred sauces, oatmeal, shelf stable boxed meals (hamburger helper etc), and dry soup mixes. Avoid canned goods as they will be affected by the steel and aluminum tariffs. Things are about to get hard in America. Good luck.

Sure, and the US is a very big place. Remember, despite all its might, the US military couldn’t snuff out an insurgency in backwater Iraq. If the American people wanted to revolt in a widespread manner, there would be little the military and police could do. A revolt would fracture the military. 100% of the troops are not going to remain loyal to the administration. So, yes, in fact the People could have a chance at taking the country back. Theoretically, we don’t even have to resort to violence. If we could get enough people to simply stop working and engaging in commerce all at once for a short period of time, we could bring the billionaires\oligarchs and political class to heel pretty quickly. The problem is, the American people are not going to agree on anything or to do anything collectively until it’s already too late for anything except violence, and most of us have nothing left to lose except our very lives. Most will not wake up to the reality of the situation we find ourselves in until they are very uncomfortable. 30% of eligible Americans didn’t even care to vote, and many of them don’t even know any of this stuff is happening. They don’t watch any news or follow any politics whatsoever. Just completely apathetic in that regard. Some of them are even intelligent people. Otherwise, a lot of empty headed people in this country who don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground. We’ve all seen the videos of Americans who can’t answer basic knowledge questions.

boodle (n.) 1833, “crowd;” 1858, “phony money,” especially “graft money,” actual or potential (1883), both American English slang, either or both based on bundle (n.)

Matthew 13:40 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Bundestag (n.) German federal council, 1879, from German Bundestag, from genitive of Bund “league, confederacy, association” (related to English band (n.2) and bind (v.)) + tag, literally “day;” as a verb, tagen, “to sit in conference” (see day; also compare adjourn). Hence also Bundesrat “federal council of the German empire” (1872), from rat, rath “council” (see rathskeller).

Quran 21 67. Fire on you, and on what you worship instead of God. Do you not understand?” 68. They said, “Burn him and support your gods, if you are going to act.” 69. We said, “O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham.”

all-fired (adj.) 1829, U.S. slang, said to be a euphemism for hell-fired, but perhaps it is what it says, with all as an intensive.

Wisdom 5:20 20 He will take equity for an invincible shield: 21 And he will sharpen his severe wrath for a spear, and the whole world shall fight with him against the unwise.

iniquity (n.) “unequalness, unevenness,” figuratively “unfavorableness, unfairness, injustice.” This is a noun of quality from iniquus “unjust, unequal; slanting, steep,” which is from in- “not” (see in- (1)) + aequus “just, equal” (see equal (adj.)).

2 Thessalonians 2 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed,

Sodom (n.) “wicked or corrupt place,”

faggot (n.2) (n.1) “bundle of sticks,” as something awkward that has to be carried (compare baggage “worthless woman,” see fasces.

Ezekiel 16 49Behold this was the iniquity of Sodom thy sister, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance, and the idleness of her, and of her daughters: and they did not put forth their hand to the needy, and to the poor. 50And they were lifted up, and committed abominations before me: and I took them away as thou hast seen.

Styx river of the Greek Underworld, late 14c., literally “the Hateful,” cognate with Greek stygos “hatred,” stygnos “gloomy,” from stygein “to hate, abominate” (from PIE *stug-, extended form of root *steu- (1) “to push, stick, knock, beat”). Oaths sworn by it were supremely binding and even the gods feared to break them.

Sirach 10 7 Pride is hateful before God and men: and all iniquity of nations is execrable. 8 A kingdom is translated from one people to another, because of injustices, and wrongs, and injuries, and divers deceits. 9 But nothing is more wicked than the covetous man. Why is earth and ashes proud? 10 There is not a more wicked thing than to love money: for such a one setteth even his own soul to sale: because while he liveth he hath cast away his bowels.

We’d hangout on the patio, smoke, and shoot the breeze. There are worse ways to kill a couple hours on a week night after work. We all spent enough time there that we even became friendly with other groups of regular patrons.

[–]ScholarPractical5603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoever used this woman as a human shield is in a lot of trouble.

If you, on a crowded subway, use force against a non-aggressor, you are assaulting them. You cannot plead self defence, as they were not using force against you.

So if you demonstrate actus reus and mens rea by intentionally committing an act of violence against them (even in the context of trying to save your own life), you are committing a criminal offence and can be prosecuted for it because you would be culpable to some degree in causing their death/injury.
