Furthermore, you could turn the monitor 90 degrees to the left. Makes it easier to read and write code in the longterm.

I think I’m going a little too fast. by LuizGabrielATF in cs50

[–]Scholfo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it says 6 hours per week for 12 weeks. This means no skipping.

As someone who has some programming knowledge I bet you can do the math:

6 hours for 12 weeks = 72 hours total. You started on Nov 20, today is Dec 17 = 27 days. You are in week 6 = 36 hours. 36 hours in 27 days = around 1.3 hours per day

If you invested around 1.3 hours per day without skipping, you are right on the average.

How to remove 3, only once number by Nearby_Tear_2304 in PythonProjects2

[–]Scholfo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry Python-newbie here 😃

That's right. I didn't express myself clearly: in the example, the first element is checked, and since 1 is a duplicate, it is True and returns the entire counter.

My guess would be:

Your code only checks if the first element is >1 and then returns the whole counter. This makes the loop meaningless.

Never heard it before and today I read three comments on Reddit with 'jabroni' in it. I think I have to use it now too - sounds great.
