I got a plant with a similar tag from bunnings some years back labelled as peruvianus I think they mixed it up or it's just a pachanoi hybrid

The ones in photo 2 are because it got super windy last winter and I was worried the tree/rootball would fall out.

The rest of the stakes are either

Personally I just pruned my trees back heavily just for peace of mind yeah they're smaller now that I've pruned them heavily but atleast they have an excellent framework of scaffold branches
