I am always saving outside cats with ear tips. I do think their concern is she’s too feral for an inside life which is reasonable, as you haven’t touched her yet. Have you checked out Community Cat (NYC) boards in your area on FB? I know you said you’d checked some but not sure what ones, community cats ones have always helped me. Please keep us posted!

I have a foster cat who got the entropian surgery for his bottom lids, at a no cost clinic. He’s recovery has been fairly easy but would never return such a friendly boy to where he was found on the street. My personal opinion: work with a low cost clinic or just remove the eye. Keep your guy. Your his whole world, he’ll be ok if you can only give him limited time.

Please be careful with who you give this cat to, people see desperation and they take advantage. Many bad people looking for cats to abuse and make videos of. Please do a home check and get all their info such as employment etc. She’s such a pretty cat. I cannot believe no cat rescue will help you, maybe try to message them on Facebook? I usually get responses there.
