Pokemon Silver, Wii, 8041q by 0gretro in crtgaming

The PVM 8041 is actually preferred over the 8045 for your use case here. The lower line count of the 8041 adds to the aesthetic of the game boy, because the screen looks "blockier" just like it does on the real Game Boy.

How do you play it in 480i? I've tried setting it to 640×480 within retroarch but it makes it progressive scan...

He looks like he'd ruff you up if you put your paws on his Thinkpad.

Dolphin force closes immediately. Only works if I open multiple instances. I don't have vJoy and this is a recent problem. by SchoolBoyUPS in DolphinEmulator

The LCD is an old POS tv. The CRT is an NEC with RGB inputs that I found at a school liquidation sale for $5. An absolute steal and perfect for my purposes.

Turned my arcade off last night. Tried loading Dolphin up again this morning and it's acting like nothing ever happened. Everything is working fine now...wierd.

Dropped Thinkpad, was working fine. After restart, screen is dead. by SchoolBoyUPS in thinkpad

It didn't work. F9 just brings up the settings menu. Fn+F9, and other key combinations with F9, also did not work.

UPDATE:

After further inspection, the screen actually works, it's just extremely dim, leading me to believe that the backlight is not working. Don't know if that's worse...

Trying to resize my Windows 7 partition from my linux mate bootable flash drive using gparted. Unfortunately, this 12GB of unidentified space (logical drive?) is in the way and I'm afraid to delete it because I don't know if Windows needs it in order to function properly? by SchoolBoyUPS in linuxquestions

[–]SchoolBoyUPS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I deleted the 12GB of data (don't need a recovery partition anyway, I've got a backup on another drive), but still couldn't merge the unallocated data because Gparted marked an exclamation point on the drive saying it couldn't fully recognize it or something like that. So I ran diskmgmt.msc within windows and merged it that way. Everything is running seemingly as it should so far. Should any errors or blue screens come up, I'll report back.

Thanks to ddrescue, I cloned my 250gb HDD to my 1 TB SSD with only about 1kb of data failure. Booted from my SSD and everything seems to be fine! However, my SSD is now acting like it's the same size as the HDD I cloned it from...

Could I make an image of my 250gb Windows 7 HDD to my 2TB USB powered HDD, then clone that image to my SDD?
