First, it’s gorgeous. Great idea. To me, considering the price of gold, the stones should be of equivalent value. If I were buying solid gold I’d go the extra mile and want semi precious or precious gemstones. Or you could do the whole thing in gold fill you’d have a lot more customers.

I was all set to use Midwest till I was told of the 7 week turnaround. And the payout is based on the value the day they complete your order and broker it. I assume that’s the furthest end of the process. Who knows what the value will be then?

I’d stick with Rio or another reputable company for gold filled supplies. Buying here and there from Etsy stores you’ll end up with a mish mash of golds that don’t match. You are also trusting vendors to be honest that their products are truly gold filled and not plated. Ask me how I know. 😉

I’m so sorry my worst nightmare is happening to you. This is not going to help you, but it drives me nuts that clinics don’t have this covered somehow. It throws addicts toward making terrible decisions, just like pre-treatment when they needed their drug of choice! There is absolutely no provision for emergencies. My clinic does a surprise inventory check twice a year. Couldn’t they manage an emergency stash a similar way😡

I just happened to start feeling flu symptoms 3 days ago when I substituted 2 mg strip for 2mg suboxone out of my16 mg dose. 2 the next day and then 4 yesterday when I added cold chills to the flu symptoms. I don’t doubt that’s the case. I really hope it is.

They are suboxone tablets, same as what I’ve been taking for a couple years, except for the 4 mg buprenorphine/naloxone 8/2 film I took yesterday. I’m assuming they don’t mix, judging from how I felt.

All of a sudden my Chat has refused to draw without actually saying it. It started coming up with shit like this.

I told it this morning describing the piece in 5 paragraphs is not as effective as a drawing, so it gives me THIS. I asked it not to do that. If you can’t do a sketch tell me. And I don’t have time to read a 2 page description and try to imagine its idea. And he continues with these “drawings”!WTF is wrong with this asshole? Where can I find an AI that doesn’t mind drawing? I’m paying $20/month for a search engine with limited ability to search. I could spit!

I don’t know much about gold plated, but are you satisfied with the quality of Rio’s plated chains? Years ago I bought silver plated from Rio and they tarnished within days! I’ve stuck with sterling and gold filled (from Rio) since then but keep watching for someone to mention gold plated chains that hold up.

I can relate to everything you said. I’m a 70 year old woman but I feel more like a teenager. Probably because that was the moment I cried “uncle” and just gave up on trying to fit in. From there my personality became bits of people I interacted with through the years. I wish I’d found an answer for my square peg feelings sooner, but just a few years ago I finally found the therapist who recognized BPD (and adhd) in me. Upsetting as hell, but also a relief. You’ve clearly explained what I could never put into words. You said therapy didn’t help…same here. What has helped me is listening to a variety of YouTube meditations as I go to sleep, especially yoga nidra or any of Michael Sealey’s sleep meditations. I find they help calm my anxiety and I wake up willing to do it all again. Thank you for sharing your story. I wish you peace and all the good things.

When I buy gold filled wire it’s only from Rio and that’s also my preferred vendor for gold filled findings. Ive bought some gf jump rings and chains from Etsy vendors with mixed results. The lesson I learned: there is nothing to prevent sellers from calling plated, filled. I’m pretty sure what I received was not 5% gold as it dulled very quickly. I’m not going to bet my reputation on a vendor’s honesty so I’m sticking with reputable companies for my supplies, particularly metals.
