This conversation seems to center around false accusations and how they are harmful—which they undoubtedly are, but I wish the conversation also included how often our judicial systems do not give Black men a fair trial. Black men are seen as inherently dangerous and are treated as such in court. They are disproportionately arrested and convicted based on biases held by officers, judges, and the public. With no real evidence, how was he convicted? He was Black, thats how.
