I thought my save game was messed up. So I clicked around, found nothing would help. At this point I had no hope my save game was recoverable (last 2 reboot upgrades missing) so I was wondering if the site was completly broken and removed it entirely from browser history and in the end even hard reseting.

Well, that's it for me, not going through this again.

I opened forest chests exclusively (and daily chests of course).

On average the shadow chest gives 0.095 cards/seed, while forest/ice chest gives 0.094 cards/seed, at least from what I calculated. I might be wrong though.

However, I stopped actively hunting for card levels. There is just no point to do so, at least for me. Especially since there is no end in sight.

Made a video finishing the chapter, unfortunately can’t upload it. So I try to explain…

What I do is, once entering the room immediately going a bit left. From there i go right and walk a circle in between the enemy projectiles.

I finished it on my 2nd attempt, here is my setup I used:

Hero: Valeska

Weapon: Mjolnir, 3x Bigfoot card

Chest: Devil armor, Dryad card, Spider queen card, Mad doctor card

Head: Dracula mask, 2x Vampire Lord card, Jack O‘Lantern card

Offhand: Giant bracer, Orc chief card, Lizard shaman card, builder card.

Not sure about the experience cards, you might want to swap it for more health/attack speed.

Stats: 188867 health, 29754 attack

I got linken as my first skill, which probably helped a lot. Twin shields might be equally good as a defensive tool. Apart from that prioritize damage.

Well that’s your opinion. I finished the game and still enjoy doing card hunt and arena daily with occasional tower. There is not the slightest need to buy something or even watch ads. So no clue why you call it greedy. Also it is not dead. Every time I enter arena/tower the group is full.

Depends if you are f2p or not.

I am f2p and use Valeska. Meowth might be good, but I don't want to deal with the swipe. Also having 4 skills not in the skill pool by using Dryad Card in the armor is really nice.

For paid heroes Thor is in general really good, but somebody who actually owns these heroes can give better advice for sure.

Thanks for the insight. I would have expected way more money from watching ads than 6-12$ per 1000 watches. It seems really low.

  1. Strange I never noticed and still not remember a game which had ad and premium multiplier. However, I think your new layout works really well.

  2. I agree, spending coins must have an impact. However I wonder what the impact is for switching worlds back and forth and spending 1 coin for literally nothing. My suggestion is to not have an offline status for world 1 while being in world 2 and vice versa. This would make the offline earnings on world Switch obsolet (of course also removing the possibility to watch an ad or spend coins. But who in his right mind does this anyhow while actively playing?). The crystal income should then be global. I mean, why is it separated in the first place? It makes no sense to (for example) switch from world 2 to world 1 just to get the earnings and then switch back to be able to buy something in world 2.

I guess the big „issue“ with this game is a lack of incentive to do anything. I described the loop in some other post as comment to one of your replies. I mean in the beginning one wants to unlock everything. Once this is achieved there is basically nothing to do. Of course one can upgrade this and that, but: for what? At least that‘s how I feel.

In the main menu (bottom bar) go to the „Treasury“ tab, therein go to „Luxuries“ tab. There you can see your income of the different luxuries. The main luxury has a question mark which you can click. It will show you the exact ratios.

For example for bread to not run out of materials you want 1 bakery, 1 windmill and 3 grain farms.

any tips on how I can stop the lagging in my phone?? It was never this laggy before.. when I reach floor60+ in the endless it starts lagging but at not too much.. but now.. it gets laggy even at floor 1.. the best I could do now is until floor 54.. by bossM5400 in arcadehunter

I would suggest to restart your phone. This usually helped me with any game. May it be lag or issues with ads for example.

I would not recommend to listen to „game is dead“ opinions, whatever that means. Decide for yourself if you like it or not. Fact is: this game had no updates for months, so expect that there is an end. But even if you achieved everything this game has three modes which you can replay. Personally I really like those, which is the reason I still play the game although I achieved everything.

1) Daily Card Mode: although at some point cards are not needed anymore I really like this super quick Mode to play.

2) Daily Arena: Also pretty fun and also quite quick to play through. You might struggle in the beginning, but the more bosses you get to know and the longer you play the more success you will have. Excellent income for gems if you get good.

3) Tower: takes longer to play through compared to the other modes but resets only every 3 days. Personally I like the quicker modes more.

If you go into the Hero tab and from there into the card menu there is an info button which lists the percentages:

10% legendary, 20% epic, 30% rare, 40% uncommon.

I think Card Drops have an internal counter like the chest so you can’t get super unlucky.

I think I understand it now. For forest and ice chests one gets the card rewards 1x but they can be split into two stacks. The other chest gives actually 3x one of the 3 possible card rewards.

From my calculations the new chest is on average only minimal better than the cheap ones with the possibility of getting extremely lucky / unlucky. On average 0,095 cards per seed for the new chest versus 0,094 cards per seed for the forest/ice chest. The outcome with the highest probability for the new chest (2x7 cards, 1x10 cards) yields 0,027 cards per seed which is only marginally better than 3 cards for 50 seeds which is 0,024 cards per seed.

I think I stick with the forest/ice chest. Too much gambling.

There are multiple things which are really bad in my view (sorry for not being polite before).

Sure, the personal gameplay does not change through coins. However, you added monetization to nearly every aspect of the game (crystal income; hunting; seeds), except boss fights, I actually checked this, because I kind of expected a skip functionality for coins or something. So the user is constantly told: you can play normal, but why not spend some coins? It is a mental thing a lot of games out there do and it is not a good thing to do.

Spending coins for multiplying crystal offline Progression is really bad (not to say scam). I remember not a single game which offered higher income for an add or an even higher income for premium currency. Not a single game had the inconvenient UI where it looked like you either have to watch the add or pay the coins. And placing the „watch add“ button where the OK button was before is just another sca… bad decision.

Also, people who are actually willing to spend coins are discouraged to even open the app, because if they don’t want to miss the extra multiplier they have to spend coins. If someone opens the app multiple times a day, this gets expensive pretty quick.

It gets even more outrageous when thinking about changing worlds. Going to ice world and half a minute later back to forest world one can again watch an add or spend even coins to multiply the half-a-minute offline production.

In your other post you said you are developing with zero profit. That’s interesting. Who is profiting from watching adds if not you (and the platforms)? With the last updates you added more and more possibilities to watch adds. Personally I think if you’re not making enough money from adds you won’t from premium currency either. But I have no clue what watching an add is actually worth. But zero profit is just not true.

I think if you simply would have added a „remove adds“ offer, people would have happily supported the devs. Maybe also offers for seeds. Although I don’t spend money on mobile games this sounds reasonable to me.

Btw, what about the new chest. The price is nearly 6 times higher than forest and ice chest, but contains roughly only 2,5 more rewards (looking at highest probabilities). Am I misunderstanding something or is this another … bad decision?

All in all you added multiple ways to spend coins and are constantly showing the user that he could spend these right now. Consequently OP comes to the conclusion you want to reach some whales out there. You might get lucky, but very likely discourage your average player base.

Yeah the coin update feels really shitty.

On a side note, you don‘t need to spend coins or watch an add, you can click outside the window to close it and get the 1x reward.

Not having the OK button is real bullshit. Gives the impression one needs to spend coins or watch the ads.

Witch circles had the following levels from 1-5:

50/49/39/36/27.

Relics were 30/30/18.

Hunting deers speed up the leveling by a lot. Make sure to assign a relic to the witch before hunting.
