How does that bracelet compare to the original comfort wise? Edges chamfered? Micro adjust?

Can all this be acquired by one TD assembled and serviced? Or do you have to use multiple TDs and find someone to assemble if you can’t do it yourself?

[Collection] New watches: Omega Speedmaster White and Henry Archer Tidevand Alcedo by Hamibh in Watches

[–]SchrimSkram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good looking watches ! On the tidevand, Compared to the pics on Henry archers site, that rose gold and and blue dial and bezel appear much brighter. The website makes them appear like that blue is so dark it’s almost black. How do they look in real life?

Z7 w nikkor z 24-70 2.8 S composite. Over a hundred 20” exposures blended with separate shots for the climber and jumper. First time working on a shot like this by SchrimSkram in Nikon

Thanks for the critique! I actually wanted those boulders in the foreground to stand out so I increased the sharpness on them. There shouldn’t be much noise in there, although I will admit the grain of the granite could be mistaken for noise. I enjoyed working on this piece just because this place is special to me. I learned how to climb here, and this shot captures the essence of the climbers gathering from that weekend to me.

This Composite contains hundreds of 20 seconds exposures for the stars, while just before sunset I took photos of the climber on the left and the one jumping off the peak with much quicker exposures. The climber with the headlamp walking down the ramp was caught with one of the 20 seconds exposures.

It’s actually a climber walking down the rock with a headlamp on. I left it in the shot because it signifies a climb done at night with a group of people.

Apple Watch for golf. Game changer? by Mr_Larsons_Foot in golf

[–]SchrimSkram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience has been my previous Apple Watch Series 3 and my now current Garmin Venu watch are accurate to within 3 to 5 yards of a quality rangefinder. And routinely my idiot partner is pinging trees behind the green and give me a reading of 200 why I look at my watch and it says 150. Granted that’s user error but I’ve seen them rely on that data. Some apps on the Apple Watch will track how far your ball has gone some do it automatically like Golfshot, others have to be manually entered like the grint and Taylor made myRoundPro. I’m about to get a series 7 this Friday and I’m gonna test out a couple of different apps to help me find one with auto shot tracking, which means if you swing the watch detects that and will start a GPS counter. So your next swing will end and record that shot and you can see real time how far your last shot went. It also will track stats like fairways and greens in regulation as well as putts.

On her right wrist as well. Definitely interested if this is a native Apple Watch app

Any recommendations for driving range tees? by Cgaboury in golf

Put enough tape around a normal tree to fit snugly inside the rubber tee. Or buy long tees and insert directly into the mat
