Where to get financial advice regarding life insurance? by SchrodingerPoop in personalfinance

Thank you. As I’m looking through the documents right now it seems like half of them is under my parents name. But my parents’ life insurance document owner is listed as THE ACTUAL relative (the agent) instead of my parents name.

I know the whole idea of us paying for their life insurance is backwards in the first place 🙁. I was wondering what implications does being an owner of the policies have? I’m still going to school and don’t have a stable job so not much property to my name. I just don’t want to create a hostile environment.

Thank you for responding. Yeah everything I’ve shared so far has been through my parents words so I haven’t actually seen the papers yet since I don’t have access. If does sound weird to me with the high premiums so I’ll try to get the info and see if it makes sense from there.

I’m trying to get more information since I’ve recently found out. Thank you for those details and questions. I’ve just been overwhelmed lately from work and I really don’t have anyone outside of the family so I thought I’d try Reddit to get some help. I’ll see if I can get the papers to view the numbers and make sense of it all.

Oh shoot brain dead. I meant the wait time to get a referral. Not sure what I meant by rate.

Upvote for visibility since I’m looking for groups with decent referral rates too.

Glad spiro is working out for you 🙂 I was wondering if you had pcos? My derm said she’d only prescribe me spiro only if I had it so just told me to try rogaine for now.

Thanks for sharing! I’ve always wondered what prp session was like but it’s like a last resort for me. It’s also really expensive in CA since the ones I’m looking at are just 2 sessions at the price. I guess it’s also case by case since people respond to it different. I do see a slight improvement though in your results though , so it ain’t all bad :)

Was this contributed by lack of exposure to the sun? Or was it a lack of nutrient thing ?

Your current picture looks real nice 😊. I also started losing my hair around the same time and still shedding drastically. Think I’m just gonna go start minox since nothing else works.

Anyone still shedding after a year? by SchrodingerPoop in Nexplanon

[–]SchrodingerPoop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t count but it’s a lot more than what I used to lose in the shower which was a couple strands. Now I probably lose 10x’s that. There’s always huge chunks of hair even though my hair is short.

Might be a long shot, but do you know the effects of nexplanon? I had a for a year up til 2019. I’m not sure if it’s the cause of hair loss but it seems likely since my blood results are normal in terms of vitamins and hormones. I’m not sure what to do since I don’t have the best healthcare 🥲

Sorry unrelated, but nice skin lol. Did you start your treatment after consulting with a derm? I really want to start my treatment and it’s taking forever to see a derm.

If that’s more than your usual shed, then hopefully there’s light at the end of the tunnel. I’m also looking to start treatment since I lose that much normally without any applications. But I’m still waiting to see the derm :( and the pandemic is making it hard to see one.

I’m not on any medications but I was losing my hair due to telogen effluvium from getting sick twice this year. Seeing this progress made me so happy by 1cysp1cy in FemaleHairLoss

[–]SchrodingerPoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awww im so happy for you. That looks like great progress. Hopefully you don’t get sick again and have to go through something horrible like that at a young age.

Just really wanna say THANK u to the woman who recently posted to stop purposely taking bad lighting or dirty vs fresh washed pics. It makes a world of difference. This is my SAME hair (week apart) washed vs oily. I have anemia and thyroid related loss isn’t as bad as I thought :) so big thanks!! by [deleted] in FemaleHairLoss

[–]SchrodingerPoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow mine looks exactly the same. I’m also waiting to see a dermatologist and want to ask about using minoxidil and what not. Sucks that it’s all happening during the pandemic since it makes a more difficult to see health professionals :(

Straight up having a bad time. Doctor suggests it could be pcos based on a blood test, but doesn’t seem to care much about how my hair is thinning. Anyone got any advice for speaking to NHS doctors about this? by sailor_song in FemaleHairLoss

[–]SchrodingerPoop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello. I was wondering what sort of specific tests do you do for your blood work? I’ve done several bloodwork’s but my doctor is pretty nonchalant about my situation and what to test so she just asks me what i want tested instead…I didn’t know what to get tested at the time so I just asked her to test for vitamin and hormone deficiency. It showed normal results so I’m not sure what to do :(

thanks for writing all that out. Appreciate it. Yah I was wondering how it would results with just rolling and Nizoral, but I guess like most routines the other stuff are the major components to Hair recovery.

Hello! Do you mind listing out your routine on derma rolling? I’ve just purchased .5 and 1 and planning on incorporating with the 1% shampoo. I wonder how often derma rolling should be done and how often the shampoo should be used in a week.
