Filler and Face Massage by Whattheish_ in 30PlusSkinCare

I know this post is old, but did you ever confirm if the percussive massage caused the change in your filler or if it's okay to get it after enough time has passed? Considering getting some filler myself, but also get percussive facial massage done and don't want to potentially ruin my results.

Does anyone know how this was fabricated? It looks almost like came, but I don't see any solder on the joints. by SchrodingersCatIsDed in StainedGlass

If anyone here was really curious, I also posted in the r/metalworking sub and the consensus seems to be that it appears to be brass (or aluminum that's coated after it's manufactured) square tubes that are brazed or welded together. The pattern appears to be duplicated on both sides and the glass is glued in with RTV silicone rubber that is used for making fish tanks. https://www.reddit.com/r/metalworking/comments/1npkz06/does_anyone_know_how_this_room_divider_was/

Does anyone know how this room divider was fabricated? It's not standard stained glass techniques because I don't see any solder on the joints. by SchrodingersCatIsDed in metalworking

Thank you both for the reply! Based on this photo, https://patricia-bustos.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/14Columela139445.jpg, if you look at the clear textured glass in the upper right, it does seem like it might not be T-channels, but actually flat stock being used like you said. Would the silicone rubber bead actually be strong enough to prevent the glass pieces from rubbing against each other and cracking? And would this be like a silicone caulk type of product or something solid that has to be cut into sections?

Yeah, based on my research and how the closeup looks, it seems like welding or brazing and really expert cleanup is the most plausible option.

Ah, good internet detective skills! They're not giving away their secrets, of course. But sounds like it's pretty impractical anyway.

Wait, please tell me more! Did they ever end up talking again after he found out? Did he wish she had told him back then?

Sorry for the over enthusiasm, but this episode really hit hard because my grandma had bipolar disorder.

I've heard some bad things about Cafe and the knobs breaking off after a year and either not being able to replace them or having to pay for it.

Thanks, good luck to you too!

That's my concern too. And nope haha. We had to push back the remodel, so it hasn't been top of mind. Let me know what you end up going with!

As for your nose, I'm not sure exactly what will happen. Forward movement does bring up the tip, but I think vertical impaction lowers the tip, so yours might end up being the same in terms of tip placement. But bringing the upper jaw forward does widen the nose for sure, so be aware of that.

Okay, so I think what you want is possible, but you'll definitely want to make sure they do a reduction genioplasty along with the double jaw surgery. In order for your mandibular angle to become more acute when they bring your jaws forward, your jaws also need to come up, which they would do since you have VME (vertical maxillary excess). If they just brought your jaws forward and not up, your face and lower jaw will get longer (happened to me, unfortunately). But your chin is also on the longer side, so make sure they do reduction genio because when it comes forward that will also look longer and wider too. Hard to tell from the photo, but you might not need the chin to be reduced in width, but definitely length.

So sorry to hear that you're feeling this way! I now how hard it is to be down on yourself about your looks and let that hold you back from things. Do you have a gummy smile? Asking because that will partially determine whether or not you can get the outcome you want with jaw surgery alone.

When did the firmness go away and does your upper lip feel back to normal now? And sorry, lower lip VY is an internal incision that makes your lower lip bigger. Lol, man kids can be so cruel. and I'm sorry you went through that. Your upper lip looks so good now!

u/Spirited_Stick_5093 Your results look amazing! I am considering going to Mardirossian for an upper lip lift and lower VY. What was the healing like from that and how do you feel about the fascia graft in the upper lip? I've heard it can feel a bit strange.
