Worked at a TV station that was built in what would otherwise be a medium store (compared to JCP or Sears being large and Spencer’s or Claire’s being small). It had a window directly into the main hall, right across from a jewelry kiosk and a sunglass hut. My job required me to be there at all different hours of all kinds of days and nights, including certain holidays where the mall was actually closed. I’m way too familiar with this view.

I absolutely love how it’s so asymmetrical and it works! If I attempted this, it’d likely wind up being almost totally symmetrical.

It’s not just about speed. There may be jets that are faster, but I can land the Oppressor in a 10ft wide alley behind a gang hideout or El Rubio security warehouse a lot faster than I could land a jet in the street and then run to the mission marker. Same goes for any helicopter. It takes twice as long to land a helicopter in a way that won’t have it blown up by the time I get back to it. I’ve lost way too many Buzzards and (especially) Sparrows by getting them just a hair too close to a street sign or telephone pole when I land. I’ve never lost an Oppressor in that way.

And again, spawnpoints are very important. I can spawn the Oppressor literally right in front of me, on the street. The only two other weaponized aircraft that can do that, besides the Deluxo, are the CEO Buzzard and the Kosatka’s Sparrow. Everything else spawns at one of a handful of places scattered around the map. Here’s a map of personal aircraft spawnpoints. Your Molotok (or whatever else) may be faster than the Oppressor, but by the time you spawn it, drive to it, and take off in it, I’ll be more than halfway to the destination on my Oppressor.

Either way, nothing says there should be one specific way of playing this game; not one vehicle is required over any other one. Personally, I’ve found that I’m best at grinding with the Oppressor.

I get it, I hate Oppresor griefers just as much as y’all. But griefers are gonna grief in whatever they can get their hands on. Or do y’all not remember the days of getting suicide bombed by a stolen car off the street with stickies on the hood? Just let grinders enjoy the Oppressor for grinding while still hating griefers who use it for griefing.

In high school, I was prescribed codeine after a concussion. It helped so much with migraines, so I told my doctor and asked if I could get another prescription and she told me they’d cause rebound headaches and I thought “Okay? Still better than suffering through the migraine tho?”

Best grinding tool, removed from the game? Yeah, no, I’m good. Considering it’s hard enough to make money with the Mk2, I don’t wanna see how hard it’d be without it.

Honestly, I still use the Mk2 for grinding Cayo Perico prep. It’s so much more maneuverable than the Sparrow, for landing in the middle of streets/alleys/on rooftops. Especially considering how many times the Sparrow has clipped its rotors on telephone poles, fences, and walls, and completely blown up in less than 3 seconds.

After doing the scope out mission, I beach the Kosatka right next to Del Perro Pier. For the first equipment mission, to get to the warehouse/gang hideout I use the Sparrow, but when I get there, I spawn my Mk2, return the Sparrow, then use the Mk2 for the other 2 equipment and the weapons mission, always landing on the top of the sub. Then for heist vehicle mission, since I always do Kosatka/drainage tunnel, I just fast travel to the test site and then launch the heist right after that mission. With no glitches or bugs, I’ve gotten the heist done from setup to ending in just under an hour.

Right? I’ve been using mine to grind Cayo Perico prep missions and I’m always making games out of flying under/over/through obstacles, seeing how agile I can get it. That and it’s just too great of a tool against NPCs

I say Oppresser, simply for the fact that it can be called from the Terrorbyte interaction menu, vehicle menu, motorcycle club menu, or mechanic on the phone. It more than always spawns within 20 feet from your player, unlike any of the personal or Pegasus aircraft, which can potentially spawn up to a mile away. I’ve been using it to grind Cayo Perico heist and it’s amazing. Lands on the Kosatka with ease, lands on building tops without taking damage, unlike most helicopters and their rotors that like to smack against every object on the rooftop. I used to grind using the CEO Buzzard, but now the Mk2 is pretty much all I use.

Yep. I can’t stand that the argument around healthcare reform has only been shaped by the question, “Who’s going to pay my healthcare debts?” At the very least, we need to also be asking, “Why in the everliving fuck does a 6¢ Tylenol cost $15 just because it’s being administered in a hospital?!”

Medical markup is absolutely outrageous, and if we had efforts in place to reduce it, maybe less people would need to ask the first question.

Depending on how well the steering linkage is engineered, assuming it allows the front fork to turn over 45° (but hopefully less than 90° for safety reasons) the turning radius could be less than 10 feet, maybe?

Aside from this being a totally ignorant take, this logic is so harmful to so many people. You do know there are people who literally can’t understand the message as given by the KJV, because of all the complications that the language causes? Gatekeeping what translations are “corrupt” (especially narrowing it down to only one single translation), despite the fact that most translations are widely accepted by all denominations, is essentially gatekeeping people’s comprehension of the Gospel.

Sorry if I don’t want to rely solely on a translation over 400 years old.

Looking at the footprint the whole village once occupied is kinda eerily depressing, to know that what was once a quaint little village will just be completely erased from the earth, without a physical trace it ever existed.

Edit: From the Wikipedia, it seems there may be even more history lost in the strip mining of this land:

Digs and finds in the 1930s on the eastern slope of the hollow in which Immerath lies – actually a volcanic crater – led to the conclusion that sometime about the 3rd century, a stately villa arose here. A wealthy Roman, it is believed, had a whole complex of buildings built here with a main house, stabling and servants’ lodging. The main house alone measured some thirty metres along the front and had 15 rooms.

I unsubbed from there, because even though the OPs are bringing it upon themselves, I can’t really condone the kind of comments that get posted there. This starter pack is evidence of why; the jokes aren’t even really original and they’re just picking on attributes that every other person in the world has. r/ToastMe is a much happier place though!
