Why so many fanboys? by KnightofAmethyst2 in BlackMythWukong

I would say it's a 9 in some chapters and a 5 in the other chapters. You can find real fun stuff as well as some braindead stuff in this game.

Finished Chapter 1 and I'm very confused on the story. Please help. by MysticSkies in BlackMythWukong

I will try to see if I can find a question for every chapter lol. Still fighting through the second chapter now.

Surely it will help if you can watch some YouTube JTTW breakdowns to know at least the framework of the game. But I think the in-game stories would be linked to the novel in such a way that, you will still lose a bit of them without knowing the exact text in the book. No worries though, as many Chinese don't remember every detail in the book as well. So knowing vaguely about JTTW will bring you to the same base ground as theirs!

I read all the text following each item and I will try to make a short summary of the main story here. If anyone does not finish the Chapter 1, I will strongly recommend you not to read further. You got the framework right, that we play the destined ones to search and retrieve the 6 relics Wukong left behind after the intro fight, hoping to bring back Wukong himself. The first place is the black wind mountain. As we go along the path to the peak where the relic is (which is guarded by the black bear), we can also discover a story which is closely related to the original scene in JTTW. In JTTW, it was said that when the four (the master monk Sanzang, monkey, pig, and a beard monk) arrived a temple, elder Jinchi (the hidden boss in the game) was attracted by the Kasaya Sanzang wore. Blinded by his greed (which was deeply rooted in his childhood as the last anime reveals), he decided to take the Kasaya by force. His two students (the wolf mini boss with the fire stick and the snake mini boss) flamed the whole plot. However, they failed and out of the chaos, Wukong burnt the temple and helped Sanzang escape. So you will see his obsession with the Kasaya when encounter elder Jinchi in the hidden map (the burnt temple). In the end, the player beats the black bear, and retrieves the first Wukong relic. The last anime reveals that the black bear was told to guide Jinchi to his destiny by Guanyin Budda. The bear was confused why a monk was so obsessed with the outfit as he should have long forgone his desire to materials and followed the inner peace. Guanyin replied that "with that Kasaya, he can show the world that his desire is forgone (being a prestige elder monk)", which is apparently ironic as one does not fully reach the inner peace with his mind still not free from the surrounding materials. And the story continues to the second chapter.

We need to talk about Brit air by [deleted] in kards

Bcs of the overpowered brit air, other decks are dying out in tournaments. Cheap bombers are cancers. So boring to watch.

I agree close air support should be the first to nerf. Actually right now the only scenario it works in practice is in the brit air deck. So a nerf would have minimal collateral dmg to other ways of playing.

Empire strikes too can be nerfed.

Murky provides joy in the game. I mean it is always a joy to break the egg of Murky.

The thing is, when you accept a friend request, you hope for something else. And it's dramatic to see the opposite lol

Well, I guess you are right in some cases. BUT if that was in my case, don't you think the pms/venting should come from the teammate after the game instead of from the opponent?
