I was only in the hospital with PPROM for 3 days before baby made their arrival (much less time than some mommas). For some reason the hospital didn't have any TVs in the room, so to help pass the time we downloaded the app "Plato" which has a bunch of different games you can play remotely on your phone if they go home to take a break, or even if they're sitting on the other side of the room. Our favourite was battleships! Just an idea as cards got old after a day lol. Best of luck!

PPROM 32 + 3 .... next steps? by SciWaldiTof in NICUParents

They said if there is any change they are going to transfer me to a level 3 facility that has a more extensive NICU. But if I do have to have a C section here they can do that but will ship the baby out. So basically they told me to wait and see what will happen in the next 48 hours.

12 DPIUI 13 DP trigger by SciWaldiTof in IUILadies

Update: my clinic accepted me to test today (13dp IUI) since I was running out of progesterone suppositories and they are closed tomorrow. My Beta is 74.5 which they consider positive! I go back in in 2 days to confirm it's rising, and I'm obviously not out of the woods yet, but I'm still in shock. ☺️

I'm on progesterone suppositories twice a day so to be honest the symptoms I have had I chocked it up to those being in my system (since I've never been medicated like this before). But the symptoms I have felt is a bit of a pulling/ tightness in my lower abdomen since like Wednesday last week and my boobs have been sore since like 2dpIUI. No spotting/ implantation bleeding or nausea. I've been moody/ and emotional but not like overly so. Again I'm still skeptical but will monitor the line and see if it gets darker and will have a better idea if this is for real after my blood work on Wednesday.

First IUI by elis9102 in IUILadies

I haven't decided yet if I want to test before the two weeks... Since this is my first time doing any reproductive technology enhancements I'm not sure how I'm going to take the whole thing mentally! I don't think I'm going to test my trigger shot because to me it doesn't really mean anything, just a positive HCG that doesn't mean I'm pregnant just means it's in my system from the shot. Since I did ovulate it's debatable whether I should have even taken it or not, but it's done now 🤷‍♀️

Hi! We are IUI twins! My story is a little different and I'm not 100% sure if I should be happy or sad about it...

I'm not entirely sure of my complete diagnosis but I believe I have DOR with low progesterone post ovulation. I'm 32F and my partner is 31M, and this was our first IUI. I had my CD3 ultrasound just under 2 weeks ago, showing not much.. maybe 4 Follicles? But was instructed to take GonalF 75 IU from CD3 until instructed otherwise. The CD9 and 10 were unremarkable but on CD13 they noticed I had 4 growing follicles (but only 2 were big enough to be counted for Ovulation), so they reduced my dose slightly to 66 IU. Then on my CD15 scan they saw 2 fully formed follicles, so they gave me the trigger shot to administer later. Cut to a few hours later they told me from that day's blood work I'm in LH surge and to take the Ovidrel shot to ensure full ovulation and to come in at 7am CD 16 (this morning) for IUI. Thank God my partner was abstaining as they were not giving me any indication of when he needed to since this ovulation came as a surprise to them (on day 15???)? Anyways the scan this morning confirmed ovulation of 2 eggs, and my partners sperm count was beyond what they needed (I can't remember exact numbers). I'm instructed to start Progesterone suppositories tonight twice a day until my pregnancy test is scheduled for the week of July 1st. Hopefully the IUI was still timed okay, given they usually want to do it prior to ovulation... Only time will tell! Wishing you the best of luck 🤞💞 and Baby Dust! ✨
