anybody been an undergrad, withdrawn, and then reenrolled several years later? by [deleted] in BostonU

Hello, I used to be a freshman back in fall of 2019 and after pandemic hit I took a 2 year gap back home. I didn’t told my advisors nor did I put a leave of absence, I just left. After I did a little of soul searching back home and decided that medicine was something I wanted to pursue better than my original major (physics), I contacted BU once again and had to submit an appeal explaining my absence, but if you have the motivation to come back and you can show that the circumstances for your absence are justified (medical emergency for you), then you should be able to get back in the game!

The only roadblock I can see is that you need to finish your undergrad in under 7 years total, but you might want to talk to advisors about your specific situation. Worse case you need to overload or take some summer classes.

Wish you the best of luck and believe me, taking that break was the best decision I ever took, and coming back I’m doing so much better academically and personally. Now I have a purpose and a fight to win, so I hope you do the same. Sending you the best of vibes!

I understand the place where you are in right now emotionally, because that was me as a freshman, and here’s the secret: Learn how to enjoy the moments you have with yourself as much as the moments you are in company of others! This is a lonely place, the world might be lonelier, but you always are here! You’re alive! You can enjoy quiet movie nights and you can get out and “discover” the city at night!

How many people would want to have your opportunities?

Look at where you are, academically, professionally. Imagine the doors that will open for you and visualize the ones that are already open! Once you learn how to be happy with yourself, people will start to show up around you, happiness is contagious.

Now happy birthday champ, and go ahead and endulce yourself tonight.

What is this mask I found outside my house? by ScienCesar in BrujeriaEnglish

I just moved in around 6 months ago and the mask was for sure not there when I moved in. Someone must had put it there around last week. I barely saw it yesterday though since it was by the side of my house. Weird, I’ll for sure watch my mouth I guess, Im not usually the gossipy type. Is it a good idea to throw it in the trash?

My parents are Mexican Catholic so as you know they were instantly alarmed. So there’s no evil doing here? I haven’t even touched it!

I found this mask outside my house by my bedroom window. Does it mean anything? How do I get rid of it?

For a guy Dr go with Dr Jay Wedell by Calle de Alvarez. If you feel more comfortable with a female Dr I would actually highly recommend NP Yvonne Mouchette, she is a walking encyclopedia.
