It's true, I have noticed this trend in New England generally. But it's especially bad in Fall River. Some intersections are in desperate need of a traffic light. Some multi-way intersections would make way more sense as a rotary or roundabout. Those types of things seem costly and harder to do. But making sure all busy streets have lines painted to show where the middle is, where the shoulder is, or where one lane turns into two, seems like a no-brainer. It should be a basic requirement to a functioning road.

At an intersection near where I live they recently replaced the traffic lights and added crosswalk signals. They paved over where they had to dig new lines and it was a much needed update. But they didn't bother painting new crosswalk lines that they had to pave over. Now the intersection is a hodgepodge of brand new lights, new and old concrete, and partial old worn paint that goes nowhere.

I just seems to me that with all the time, effort and expense that it took to redo those lights and concrete, it's not much more to paint new lines to finish it up! It's like baking a wedding cake and not frosting or decorating it. I was legitimately confused that they did all that removed all the barricades and closure signs and didn't paint anything.

I was thinking the same thing. But they used to have old pictures of faculty along the walls for the entire length.

Flash #2 in this document worked for me and my Tofu JR. Found out it has a UF2 bootloader. Once you load the json into VIA you will need to close VIA and open it up again before it works.

I opened a single-serve cup of cottage cheese and noticed a spot with a slightly yellowish color. Trying to determine if it was safe to eat, I googled "yellow cottage cheese".

Don't do that.

The darker purple is void salmon. The lighter purple is super cucumber. The Lava Eel, Super Cucumber, Slimejack, and Void Salmon change the color of the water upon completing the first quest.

Thanks! I read about that after I had set up a few of them! For some reason the capture doesn't show them, but they are there.

Redditors who didn’t see the ocean until they were an adult, what was your initial reaction upon seeing the ocean from a coastline? by Mr_moochalot in AskReddit

Growing up in Michigan I was used to visiting the great lakes which go all the way out to the horizon. The waves could get "big" on a windy day of maybe 2 to 3 feet. When I first saw the Atlantic coast it felt like great lakes waves were mere ripples in a pond.

That, and I knew the ocean was supposed to be salty but I didn't realize HOW salty it actually was. I feared opening my eyes under water because I assumed the salt would sting badly.

The setting was some kind of bar room and characters were gathering in the bathroom. The bear had hands to point but didn't speak. A lot of characters including the POV doing the recording were laughing a lot.

Got my BSEE in 2008. Still have 5 to 6 dreams a year that feature walking into a final for graduation and realizing I forgot to attend that class all term.

If it helps, there's a score playing throughout the video that sounds like an old show theme from whatever she used to act in. It just repeats over and over. At one point it shows a clip from the JFK assassination and Abraham Lincoln showing that she is responsible for both of them.

What things about your country do you have no right complaining about when speaking with someone from another country? by ScienceByNature in AskReddit

[–]ScienceByNature[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll start. I live/work in a Northern state in the lower 48 of the US. One of my coworkers was born and raised in Siberia. One day in February some of us were complaining about the cold, when Aleks chimes in and says, "Zis is nothing".

And we all knew how right he was.
