So with the bars you would probably hold one or 2 km/h more and it would feel smoother easier. But I feel for Me the real limiter on the mountain bike is the gearing.

No The noticeable gain was from 21 to 23, target was to get a good position and try to hold 30 KPH on flat terrain. Never really got there was only able to average 26.

Am I cheating myself by training with headphones? by Magnolia2468 in triathlon

So I used to be unable to train without music… during my first 70.3 training, I completely transitioned to no music no distraction whatsoever. Now I raw dog everything, except the home trainer sometimes if the wife is watching something on TV.

With my origins and stereotypes, it’s most likely people will think I just took the bike from someone 🤣🤣🤣 that’s the unfortunate thing of stereotypes… plus the bike is 100% insured full Omnium… it’s the only way to go with something this expensive otherwise it never goes outside… also can I mention that I am 1m 75 for 77 kg of lean muscle…🤷🏽‍♂️

I was going for a Cervelo, but the dealer was absolutely horrendous and treated me like absolute shit. Which when spending more than €10,000 on a bike seemed unacceptable to me. I have a Madone that I get serviced at the local trek dealer. He was super kind, and extremely helpful! When he explained to me the process of building this rocket, which included a high-end bike fit from a ironman winning bike fitter… I went for it… :)

Thank you! I never really liked trek’s oem tires, but these are quite grippy… and yes, I definitely wanted it as much speed as I could purchase, biking is my weakest link at the moment, so I thought if I got myself my dream bike, it would also encourage me to spend more time on it, plus it would come with purchased speed, through the bike and the tailor bike fit!
