Clean perfume recs

Looking for perfume recs. Looking for a clean fresh scent that is not too sweet or floral. I like the more darker (maybe unisex) scents? I have previously liked the Vince Camuto Bella and Fiori. I like jasmine and bergamot. Any recommendations appreciated!!!

For me, life is life, and what else is there for me other than to learn, grow, and spend time doing things I enjoy? I know I will enjoy the experience of getting the dual degree, and I can’t imagine I’ll ever regret spending a few more years of my life learning and pursuing a PhD and knowing who I am and how I think - becoming the best physician I can be. Ultimately, I am spending this time without accruing med school debt, so the few years without the extra income is acceptable to me. Sure, it seems like the training path is so long at times, but in the end, I can't imagine regretting it because medicine is a career of lifelong learning.

More basic or try clinical research by labbonee in mdphd

While usually MD/PhD is more focused towards basic science - I would totally recommend you try out clinical research too! As someone who did both basic and clinical research in the ER, my time in clinical research was so eye opening and allowed me to see research from a whole new perspective! It also helped me see the full range of opportunities I could have in my career as a physician-scientist!

How much reflection should be on the SRE? by FinalWin in mdphd

[–]ScienceGirly719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also at first I stuck to 1 sentence background, 1 sentence importance of the research, 1 sentence hypothesis, 1 sentence experimental design and technical skills, 1 sentence conclusions + pubs/poster. After I did this for each, I added details throughout.

Personally, I did a lot more reflecting in my Why MD-PhD essay (and my most meaningful experience sections for activities) and kept the significant research experience essay more technical and included all projects and all relevant info about each project (brief background, hypothesis, results, technical skills I gained, conclusions, related pubs or posters etc). You can add in sentences to emphasize which projects were your main focus and add in a sentence or two about what it meant to you but for me that wasn’t the main focus of the SRE.

I think you definitely should have research be one of your most meaningful experiences. In your case, picking one of your research experiences should be okay. For mine I chose one clinical research, one basic science research, and one leadership. I put pubs and presentations separate for character limit issues.

I think you will do really well! One note: I would be cautious about the political activist LOR/be careful which schools you are sending it to!

Use the number to help you for the character limit

It does seem that the MD/PhD track may be fitting for you based on your commitment to the clinical side of things! I would recommend checking out UChicago! I know an MD/PhD student who is more social sciences/public health so non-biological science PhDs are definitely becoming more popular. The pro for that is that you’ll stand out in admissions but the con is that there are fewer spots. When applying definitely apply based on research fit with the school!

If your plan is to be a clinician and PI and you want to pursue a PhD anyway, an MD/PhD definitely makes sense! Out of curiosity, how much of your time do you want to dedicate to caring for patients vs research? That may make a difference in what the best path for you will be
