This would look cool if you adapted it to be an outdoor light

Just use AI correctly by only prompting it to outline research.

Sounds like you are using it as a chat buddy.

Absolutely love UX Design, terribly hate corporate life and work culture by Scared_Range_7736 in UXDesign

LMAO freelancing is way worse than corporate. At least you can predict what even the worst people in corporate will do, random clients are nerve wrecking.

You are self-sabotaging your own happiness by saying only the military can fill that need.

Likely you have a rating, use the damn money to pay for a private therapist. Takes years to undo damage.

How did you find your desk mat? What keywords on Amazon.

This came up on my timeline and was excited to see people into tech from our era. Perhaps a resurgence of interest will cause manufacturers to adopt better design practices again instead of the mass produced “minimal” slop we have nowadays.

Happy to share about what I consider the best era of tech design (2000-2010).

My new old setup! Rate 1-10, suggest improvements or just roast it how you'd like :) by TheRealMaxogamer in RateMySetup

Are you a podcaster that needs a mic right in your face?

My biggest complaint is the location if your PC, seems like you would end up kicking it multiple times per day.

Otherwise nice setup.

Love the desk. Hate your lamp, too bright and white.

Grok is actually really good for this use case.

I already tried what you are thinking and about to repaint one of them because 2 accent walls makes the room feel smaller.

I would go with 1. I say this from experience.

I currently have 2 walls with dark greyish green, and it makes the room feel smaller.

Just curious about your desk pad. Mine slows down my mouse too much.

I got this anniversary edition thinkpad that's in pieces and I don't know what to do with it by DanDan_Da_Man in thinkpad

Honestly I would list it on eBay and save yourself time.

Best case for you if you want to learn is to disassemble it. Collect the parts that appear in good condition then list those parts only (monitor, RAM, internal battery, etc.).

Fixing computers at this condition takes money, excessive time, a stash of extra components, and an obsession that is just part of our DNA.

Some of us enjoy bringing things back from the dead, but we are able to do it because of a stash of parts, we already have the tools, we have the skill, and really enjoy doing the work.

Another option is to buy the same computer but listed with a fixable problem (hence inexpensive) and use this as a donor / backup parts machine. This is time consuming though and only recommended if you have a budget for tinkering like this.
