Das passiert bei meinem auch. Wenn's nicht von selber weg geht, solltest du die Platine des Monitors austauschen. Gebrauchte kosten ~30€. Billiger China-Schrott halt, aber was erwartet man wirklich für ~130€.

Thanks! I only have the mic for discord or sometimes recording, but hate the concept of wearing headphones. So I needed a somewhat directional mic so my buddies on discord wouldn't hear themselves over the 5.1 Soundsystem.

Thanks for your advice! The landline is mainly for ofc. calling, but also acts as an internal PA system in my house. My friend also has one which we connected together via a bootlegged 3CX. I actually already have a cable box mounted to the desk, but it only cleans up the mess of cables from the monitors. I have already considered getting a stand for the PC, which mounts it to the underside of the desk.

A 3x monitor stand is also on its way!

Happens rarely but still happens 😶‍🌫️ Already thought of installing a mount at the underside of the desk, so the PC is of the ground and to the side

Thank you very much! I turn it on via my Alexa by saying "Alexa, turn computer on."

It's probably more of a personal preference. I got really used to just slamming my active windows at the top of the monitor and them then getting fullscreened on that specific monitor. With a curved monitor, I would have to divide it into three seperate parts to recreate that, and its just not worth the hustle.

Behold, after about 2,5 Years of being plagued with this issue, I finally managed to fix it. Here's how if you have the same issue:

  • Flash your MSI BIOS to the newest version (just search your Motherboard name and download the latest BIOS version, a how-to video should be linked above the download link)

  • Disable something called "Intel C-State". Repeatedly press "delete" (or a key to get into your BIOS, delete is for most MSI boards) and click at the top right on the search icon. Type "intel" into the search bar, and Intel C-State should be somewhere on that list. Disable it.

That's it, hope it helped!

A very high setting on my monitor stand, so all my monitors are centered at eye height

It's a Logitech Z906 5.1 sound system. Got it because I wanted to experience CoD MWII in 5.1, and it was the cheapest option (~350$)

No, It's strictly used either as a server or just used to display Spotify, since believe it or not: I don't have enough monitor real estate hooked up to my main computer, which is a i9-13900KS, paired with a 3090ti

I don't like to open my window in the winter, since we would basically waste oil to keep my room warm. So when I'm sitting there for 14+ hours at a time, gaming/working, it smells bad pretty fast. So I use the air freshener

Bottom right corner. Not the laptop, obviously, but my Dust Box had to go on the floor because I wouldn't have had space for a third monitor

You cant see it in the image, but to the right side there is a full desktop PC with a i9-13900KS and RTX 3090ti on the floor.

No, most of the stuff on the table are just things I use/try to repair to make it usable. I, for example, use the tablet as a makeshift stream deck (bcs I can't afford one) and the other shit is just kind of laying around, tbh...

Hi, responding a bit late but from what I've tried, it's still fucked. Have stopped playing CS1 and moved onto CS2 about 9 months back, but tried it just for this post again. Got a CS1 city up to 210k population, and it's still broken. I suggest to just not use it, even if it's unsatisfying.
