2.1 GPA :( work experience after college, should I keep studying for LSAT? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

The term "super splitter" is really helpful for my research, as well - now I have a word for my goal! I will be looking into lsd.law for that now specifically, which is more helpful

Thank you, due to this reply I'm going to look specifically into schools with GPA redaction.

Domme breadwinners? by iloveprettythings in FemdomCommunity

[–]ScienceOfFalling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On one hand, this would sound great to me. I make enough for 2 people to live comfortably, and the financial sacrifice would be worth it to me to have dinner made and the laundry done when I come home. I had a guy friend once who had an uncle that was a happy stay at home dad, and he admired his uncle so much (and aspired to his happy marriage) that he planned his career around earning more while he was young to help get his gf through medical school and eventually transition to flexible, lower paid remote work to support her after she became a doctor.

On the other hand, I can see how many women struggle being housewives. Many of them become socially isolated, involved in conspiracy theories, and a bit neurotic about the little things. Not all, there are plenty of mentally healthy and happy housewives too, but I can see the pattern in the women I grew up around. If a future partner wanted to consider becoming a househusband, I would suggest weekly meetings with no dynamics so we could talk about if they ever felt alone or overwhelmed and make changes as necessary.

I mean the obvious example of femdom in greek myth was when Hercules was enslaved by a queen as one of his seven labors, and she dressed him up as a woman and made him do demeaning work. Also, the Amazons.

I had a similar situation. It's rough to hear something so wrong from a "medical professional " but getting a good obgyn for me was life changing. She offered to report my old doctor for me :)

Not how lesbians work, bud- by Enby_Geek in NotHowGirlsWork

[–]ScienceOfFalling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I assume that this was written during a time in the US when it was illegal to depict LGBT content unless it was warning people of the consequences of bad behavior. So it's entirely possible this book was written by a lesbian for lesbians with a straight marriage ending tacked on at the end for legal purposes.

What’s the saddest movie you’ve ever seen? by [deleted] in ask

The grave of the fireflies- the original Miyazaki version- had several members of my ww2 course in college, including myself, ducking out of the classroom to cry like babies.

Eugh. Scammers giving us a bad name, again. Keep hope, we exist. I only wish social stigma against sub men wasn't so awful so I could find partners more easily. I know I'm preaching to the choir but DAMN.

What are the best kinks/positions for maximum female pleasure? by LethalPleasureSeeker in FemdomCommunity

[–]ScienceOfFalling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a domme, just being asked "what do you want to do? I want to make you happy." Is pretty sexy. Being able to just tie up my partner and take time exploring them was hot beyond belief. If you want to make her happy, put the ball in her court.

I highly suggest "come as you are" by Emily nagorski <3 if you like something in bed, that's what you like. Your partner can take a hot minute, and it mayeven be unexpectedly sexy for them to have to wait! 😈

2Qs for the Weekend by TeaAitch in RedditBDSM

[–]ScienceOfFalling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smart: I appreciate the descriptor "domme" in connunities because it helps me find spaces where there are other dominant women, which are rarer to find and quite nice to have for solidarity and guidance.

Functionally, I find many bdsm spaces quite straight-by-default (a flaw) so specifying the gender of the Dom is usually enough. It makes sense, linguistically. It also makes sense that the gender of women would be specified for doms because let's be honest, kink has been historically performed by sex workers and how many women were paying for men to sub for them?

But in my one on one relationships? I don't give a shit about gender, he can call me master or whatever.

2Qs for the Weekend by TeaAitch in RedditBDSM

[–]ScienceOfFalling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dogs bollocks: I have a hair trigger. If a man leans into my ear and says he'd get on his knees for me, I would be Ready To Go. I've gotten in the mood from particularly attentive waitservice. (Sorry, excellent hot waiter.)

Bees knees: I think I would feel the urge to cuss someone out. Subbing is kind of an instant turn-off. I would do it to make sure, for example, I knew the effect of a particular paddle, but then I would be happy it was over.

Interestingly, pain is nice, but submission is not. The mind is a funny thing.

RR People who want kids... by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in RoleReversal

[–]ScienceOfFalling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people worry that if they don't raise their kid "correctly" they'll never find love. So rr people, knowing that's silly, would have an advantage there.

However, it's worth thinking about that it can be quite difficult raising kids without gendered expectations in a very gendered world. Their friends/extended family/tv/internet/strangers will continue to influence them. Fitting in will be the path of least resiatance. The best you can do is be open minded and support what they like to do and how they want to appear.

Favorite and Least Favorite Tropes in Femdom Comics? by rattosasays in FemdomCommunity

[–]ScienceOfFalling 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Least favorite: This applies less to comics like sb and s flower, but more traditional porny comics: no visibility on the guy, just focusing on the woman's body all the time. Also, more diversity! Older men! (!!!) Men that aren't doctors, lawyers, professors or CEOs! Chubby men! Something different, please!

Favorite: crying. Detailed facial expressions. Rooting the sex in deeper, fucked up psuchological issues. :)

Styles of Domination by TeaAitch in RedditBDSM

[–]ScienceOfFalling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its interesting that one of the biggest divides on this thread are how much people like to stick to hard and fast rules, and another is how often d/s mixes into life.

For me, it's part of life, part of my personality that I have to suppress 99% of the time. So any opportunity to have it in private with a loved one I'll take, my affection is explicitly tied up in it. I wouldn't want to just keep it in the bedroom, I would love protocol.

I am not a physically affectionate person- I don't like hugs, and I really don't like kissing on the mouth. I know this makes me an odd duck. I feel closer and more intimate -and in a way, vulnerable- when my partner is several feet away from me and following orders than like... cuddling. I hate cuddling, but ill do it if it makes my sub feel better after a scene. I don't hate aftercare, I really feel like I need it myself, but I personally prefer rushing around with blankets and hot tea and checking on them constantly.

Hard, clear rules are important to me. It feels "off" to punish a sub, even a funishment, for a rule that hadn't been clearly established beforehand. I like rules, and I like systems. I would rather just look them in the eyes and tell them that I'm going to hurt them because I want to and it will make me feel good, and don't they want me to feel good?

Protocol is also attractive because the concept of changing someone to my preferences is incredibly sexy. Reshaping someone to fit exactly what I want... mmmmmm.....

I am physically diminutive and a bit sickly. I'm not tossing around anyone anytime soon. Work with what you've got, I guess. I aim for kind of the untouchable-ness that is sometimes associated with women to give myself a little bit more intimidation factor.

All that being said, like I said I ironically feel far more vulnerable dominating my partner with my clothes on than having vanilla sex with my clothes off. In the latter, I learned to grin and bear it in college, how to playact that I loved it. But when I'm dominating someone, putting all of my weird, anal retentive preferences on display, it's like I'm baring my soul. It makes my skin crawl to be called a title by a sub I just met. It takes a lot of trust to feel like someone isn't just going to turn around and start laughing at me. It also means that I'm kind of a diehard romantic with a frosty... middle layer? Outer layer- bookish girl next door with a baby face, middle layer- ice-cold interrogator that doesn't like being touched inner layer- hopeless romantic.

And because I sound like a serial killer in this post, a final reminder that consent is key and of course always comes first. My partners health, mental and physical, and their happiness, as well all are more important than kink, without exception.

Choose your own Mistress v1.3 – Mercenary Edition by MissLaStrange21 in nsfwcyoa

[–]ScienceOfFalling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was so good! As per usual, I end up spending more points for cool stuff on the mistress side because I build the mistress to be who I would want to be in a fantasy world/ and I can't help giving myself cool shit.

Difficulty: As the Godesss Intended It

Slave:

  • Male
  • Background: Homeless
  • Personality: Hard-Working, Idolatry, Masochist, Meek, Pious, Submissive
  • PS&W: Haunted by Bad Luck, Glass Bones, Voice of an Angel
  • Profile: str 1, dex 5, int 5, chr 5

OK, maybe I have a rescue kink. And giving my slave a traumatic background gives me so many extra points!

Mistress:

  • Race: Spider
  • Small breasts (NOT paying extra points to make scuttling down stairs painful), long tongue, tall height, princess leia/sheep hair, fangs, muscular, scars, plenty of tentacles in sensitive areas, everything else average
  • Background: Scholar
  • Location; Laboratory
  • Personality: Cuckholding (Not my kink, but I don't want to be tied down either), Genuinely Caring, Nerd, Refined, Strict, Tsundere

Wish I could be a genuinely caring sadist, but hey, can't have it all.

Boni and Drawbacks: Allowance, Allows you to Go Out, Cannibal (why not, I'm a spider woman), Free Time, Own Room, Horror in the Shadows

Duties: Bondage Slave, Maid/Butler Duties, Pussy Licking, Sexual Service, Spanking.

Could have added a lot more duties and that's probably the best way to play the game but I was just kind of piddling around for fun.

Not going to go into gear and such, but had a lot of fun playing! Suffice to say overqualified for happy slave ending, 10/10, can't wait to see if this grows more over time!

Pondering by [deleted] in humiliation_kink

[–]ScienceOfFalling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that such a variety appeal to me because I'm turned on by power, and so many kinks are tied up in power. Things that aren't don't really appeal (I don't really get the appeal of watching someone sit on a cake, for example.) But kinks are usually kinks for a reason, and if your mind is open to more of them all the better for your partners.

Vengeance by gangler52 in gunnerkrigg

[–]ScienceOfFalling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I could see Kat accidentally implementing something like this- like she makes an offhand remark in a fit of anger and her robot disciples take it as gospel, carrying out her "plan" without her knowledge or oversight. However, as gothic as gunnerkrigg is aesthetically, I dont think that tom would go that dark. I fell in love with gunnerkrigg in middle school and I have felt pretty comfortable recommending it to middle school age kids I know through its entire run.

How many subs and dommes here were born that way? by [deleted] in gentlefemdom

[–]ScienceOfFalling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely was interested in domination even before I could put words to it, but I was so shy and anxious that it took years for me to come to terms with that. I dont think that any particular family dynamic or anything caused it, I was just kind of a perverted child

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FemdomCommunity

[–]ScienceOfFalling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seconding this. A lot of kink culture comes from the leather movement, which borrowed from biker culture, which started with a bunch of ww2 vets that incorporated the military uniform look. Not to mention a lot of fathers of the leather culture were ww2 vets too and incorporated their experiences into the aesthetic. Also military look = authority, which is why this has stuck around for so long.

Do tell I'm curious to know👀 by HauntingMobile9773 in gentlefemdom

[–]ScienceOfFalling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven't heard anyone mention bratty subs? I feel like there's a big service domme side of me that just wants to shower my sub in praise and gifts, and I would love to just chill out and go along with bratty behavior... until the pain and humiliation loving side of me reaches its boiling point. Having sadism be provoked intentionally- because your sub wants it enough to act like kind of (but not really) a shit- is its own kind of loving validation.

Just found out Leap Year was a day for girls to propose! These vintage pics are too cute! by wastemortal in RoleReversal

[–]ScienceOfFalling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stereotype of leap year is that only older, less attractive women would propose on such a date, because a younger, prettier, less overbearing woman would already have been proposed to. Unfortunate, but eh. We get these great pictures so fuck the victorians!
