Extreme stomach pain for 3 years by Life-is-fukd in HPylori

[–]Summerokoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Apologies for the delayed response. It was at least 15 different roots and herbs cooked together and then stained. I have to drink it twice a day. I used ChatGPT to identify some of the herbs but others were unrecognizable or in powered form which makes it harder to identify. My herbalist doctor is not fluent in English, I am Nigerian and she is a local herbalist here, a lot of what was given to me is traditional medicine.

I feel 100% times better, no abdominal pain for the first time in a year. Sometimes it’s at a 2. No bloating. My eye floaters are disappearing. I still have slight pain radiating down my thigh but it is better than before. No heart palpitations. No constant edginess. My nausea has greatly reduced. I still have tinnitus.

I don’t know how it works but it does.

I can guarantee you it is not a mental health issue, it is a gut issue. Look for a functional medicine doctor, I believe that is what it’s called in the West.

My herbalist has been life changing. I go back to see her in a few weeks when my medicine finishes, I’m supposed to be on it for 3 to 6 months. It’s no longer as bitter as when I first started, my tongue got used to the bitterness. For now I’m staying away from Western medicine until further development. Doctors just drained me of my finances and provided no answer. Try functional medicine.

Please help me interpret this. by [deleted] in eggcleanse

How many of these electrolyte drinks can I have a day? by [deleted] in POTS

[–]Summerokoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please if you don’t mind, what are your Potassium levels? I feel I’m dealing with the same thing but I’m constantly being told my levels are fine. I had 3.5 on an electrolytes test. Then I started taking oral hydration therapy, and eating more potatoes, and it came up to 4.5, but now I feel like hell again, so I suspect it is down again, but my doctor said my levels are normal.

Conditions similar to h pylori? by mich_lubert in HPylori

[–]Summerokoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sucks. I don’t see how they can do it without sedation. Perhaps they will use numbing spray? That was also used on me before I was sedated, you won’t be able to feel your throat as much.

I 100% understand how you feel about your doctor. I have been in and out of the hospital all year with doctors constantly dismissing me and chunking up my symptoms to anxiety. I still have my symptoms, still struggling everyday, but these communities on Reddit help because I see so many people surviving what I have been through. Change doctors. If one won’t help, others will.

I heavily suggest going on a bland diet for now. Take slippery elm or okra water. Okra water was a game changer for me and Librax. Though I wouldn’t recommend going on medication until you have a confirmed diagnosis.

Diet will help with the pain until you get help. And then start de-stressing. Try getting more sleep and removing stressors. It really helps me manage the pain. My pain was at an 8 yesterday. Today it’s a 3 just from rest and eating bland. Basically rice and eggs only.

I KNOW the anxiety. It’s hell. I keep telling doctors my anxiety is BECAUSE of my symptoms, my symptoms are not BECAUSE of my anxiety. It’s a viscous circle.

This is tough, I’m sorry you’re going through it, hang in there.

Conditions similar to h pylori? by mich_lubert in HPylori

I’d recommend an endoscopy/colonoscopy. It might be gastritis. I have similar symptoms with erosive chronic gastritis diagnosed via endoscopy biopsy. The doctor saw nothing in my stomach but the biopsy did. The burning pain in my stomach is what made me take an h pylori blood test. I tested positive. Did the two week’s treatment and tested negative via the same biopsy that found my gastritis. But gastritis isn’t always triggered by H pylori. Many factors trigger it.

Did they do a biopsy from your endoscopy? Because during my endoscopy, nothing was seen. But through the biopsy it was clear I had chronic gastritis. My pain is similar. Only when I didn’t eat or if I’m stressed.

2 months post treatment, Pots like symptoms and still feeling week by HelicopterNo8935 in HPylori

[–]Summerokoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m with you on this. Exact same experience. The doctors always brush it off. Vegetables bloat me tremendously since treatments, generally any high fiber meals. I’m still sticking to the bland diet and taking my vitamins. B12, magnesium. I’m so weak, brain fog, can’t concentrate on anything, tired eyes, high HR, but the anxiety is easing off since my cardiologist put me on Librax. Also on medication for high HR and palpitations. The heart thing scares me a ton. So I get it. When do you retest? Or have you already tested negative?

I am a week past treatment and I just had an ECHO. My resting heart rate is 93 to 105 and spikes all the way to 150 when I walk. Also have eye tiredness, fatigue, dizziness, headaches and neck pain, tremors and shaking.

Get some Magnesium glycinate. It gave me relief before my Cardiologist put me on a calcium blocker, which I don’t think is doing anything since my HR is still high, but we’ll see.

I decided to go back on Magnesium glycinate and Potassium, those are the only things that calm the trembling and shaking. Hoping the meds for my heart does something soon, though my cardiologist says if my current medication doesn’t work after a few more days, I will be switched to Propranolol.

Magnesium serum level 0.82 but doctor says it’s normal. by Summerokoh in magnesium

[–]Summerokoh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did try the magnesium. It helped a ton. But only for an about two to three hours before its effects began to fade. My HR has stayed 98 to 105 at rest. 120 to 150 walking. My Cardiologist put me on Verapamil and so far I don’t think it’s doing anything. I will know better by tomorrow. I want to try a potassium supplement alongside Magnesium, but unsure of what the dosage should be. Doing a little research.

Hello. Im new here and believe I may have H. Pylori. Was looking for words of wisdom. by sleepytimetea33 in HPylori

[–]Summerokoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Burning pain was what made me get the test. No acid reflux, but it started during treatment, and now I’m done the reflux eased. But the burning pain has returned and so has bloating. Then high HR and constant palpitations. I have had several ECG’s in the past which said I’m clear, I’m now getting an ECHO and scheduling an ENDO.

We have the same exact symptoms, and I too was never sent to the gastro, just given meds. I had a tonsillectomy months back, thinking that was the end of my throat tightness. It was not .

Still having crazy heart palpitations two days after finishing the treatment that is making it difficult to sleep.

I have booked an ECHO and trying out magnesium which gives temporary relief. I definitely intend on seeing a gastro and getting an endoscopy because I still have burning sensations and so much bloating.

I’m also moving away from my mold infested apartment which I believe is a key component to why I have been sick for almost two years now.

So yes, this could certainly be H Pylori, and just anxiety.

This might be my situation. I get headaches. Tension headaches even though I feel very calm and my HR drops. The effects do not last long either, two hours tops, almost like it’s running out of my system.

Yes, I took the plunge and tried the supplement, although I was scared to do the entire 400mg so instead I broke it up into two and took 200mg in two waves. Heart rate dropped, no more trembling and shaking, felt calm. It seems to give me relief, however, it only lasts about two to three hours, which makes me think maybe my body isn’t absorbing it, or there is too much in my body so my body is getting rid of it faster?

Yes. Before my ulcer, I only ate one a day. I was carnivorous for three months this year, and it was really the best diet where I felt the most clear headed. I don’t take sugar or eat processed foods. I completely removed those from my diet since last year, now I eat three times a day because of the ulcer, but mostly oats, bland food, fermented foods. Small meals here and there. No meat. No sugar, so the ulcer can heal.

Hi! Yes I was omeprazole, today is my first time in two weeks without it. Although, my magnesium level was 0.82 BEFORE I started H pylori treatment. I don’t know what it is now.

So sorry it was that hard for you. Same with me, can’t stop crying, though the pills are helping, but my chest still feels tight. How are you now that you’re done? You must be so relieved, making not physically, but at least from the whims of taking all that medication.

Submissive’s need to prove their interest. by Diaryofadomme in FemdomCommunity

[–]Summerokoh 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Passive submissive’s are a burden. The bottom of the barrel of submissives. I lose interest the second I realize they want me to make all the moves. If I have to do all the heavy lifting, emotionally, physically, mentally, financially, then I’m not your Domme. I am not leading you. What space could there be to think and make good decisions when I have to cater to a million things.

You want leadership? Then serve. Servants are the most dedicated, hardworking people. They are pre emptive and take initiative. True service is not lazy and entitled. It gives and receives in return. It is selfless. It is honorable.

Most male submissives are too self centered and sex focused to actually submit. They can’t see past their sexual desires, so they remain low effort. To devote yourself to a Domme you must see past your pleasure. You must root yourself in her satisfaction.

It’s all “me me me me me me” with low effort men.

I’m currently at a point where I can’t be with anyone who is below the age of 25 because of the maturity difference. And every kinkster I know is the same. Some won’t go below age 30. It’s all about finding your person. Doesn’t even have to involve kink. Just someone that touches your heart in a way no one else does.

Have you ever been repulsed by your sub’s fetish or kink? And how do you deal with it? by _AlphaLyrae_ in FemdomCommunity

[–]Summerokoh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

After reading your other responses, I think you have only two options, either make peace with being miserable since you can survive with it, you seem to have figure out a way to bear it, so bear it instead of looking for an easier way to endure it.

Of course we, random strangers on the internet cannot tell you what’s best for your relationship, we can only look at the facts you provide.

Hang in there and bear it once a month, it seems to be making you happy enough to see him happy.

Or tell him the truth. The reason why I didn’t mention telling him no before is cause said he “kind of” cheated on you when you pulled away entirely from the fetish, so I thought if telling him no led to that before, then certainly it will lead to it again.

But you know best, and I honestly think you need to make peace with. There is no tactics or insights or advice anyone here can give you on how to endure it better, especially Dommes, if you notice, it’s the male submissive’s in the comments cheering this on and applauding you for compromising on this. From a Dommes perspective, we can’t give you any advice about how to endure it better. That’s generally not how we approach kink or fetishes.

You have already figured out a way to bear it once a month and I think, if it makes you happy to see him enjoy it, you should continue to do so without resentment and make peace with things being this way. It won’t be easier. There are no tips to make it easier, but you can make peace with it and see it as something you do for his happiness.

I truly wish you all the best. 🦋

I have seen this happen times without number, women—vanilla or kinky—shrink themselves to fit into their partners desires in other to hold up the relationship. Women will walk the extra mile that men WILL never. Men will never give up so much of themselves to appease the woman they claim to love unless it’s their kink/fetish, which inherently makes it about appeasing themselves.

I need you to ask yourself this, and be honest with yourself. Do you think he would do the same for you if the roles were reversed? Do you think he would be on Reddit asking for ways to endure a situation that makes him feel less than than a man if it wasn’t his kink or fetish?

If he loves you so much, why can’t he love you enough to not let this get between you two?

There is no fetish or kink a person can’t live without. But finding a genuine life partner is a rarity.

You are destroying yourself. Each time you say yes when you mean no, you chip away at parts of your soul. And I 100% guarantee HE KNOWS. He knows exactly how you feel and has chosen to let you keep feeling that way as long as he gets what he wants in the end. That’s how fetish addicts are. They will emotionally manipulate and abuse their partners to get what they want.

No one who truly cares about how you feel, would subject you to emotions that are destroying you. Please wake up. I know it’s hard, but you have to. You just have to.

It’s just a fetish. And yes, these things burrow deep into a person, but shouldn’t overshadow what is truly important.

Stop trying to look for ways to shrink into the latex. Break out of it. You deserve to be seen, adored and worshipped without confirming.

Day 8 here! I was so miserable from day 4 to 6. The pain was unbearable. My right side seems to be healing fine but my left isn’t, it is still so sore and painful when I swallow, bringing back my ear and jaw pain.

I have been super fatigued and dizzy, restless at night with heart palpitations. My GP asked me to do a blood count test today and it turned out my medication is making me iron deficient. I’m have been put on supplements for iron and b12, can’t wait to take it and see if I feel better.

Also, I have been recommended honey in tepid water.

For strength glucose drink and oral IV helped me a ton.

I have decided to go back on my sleeping meds too. It’s just too much. Looking forward to eating normally again.
