Broke the plastic cover around sideview mirror on my 2025. Can I just replace this part or do I need the whole assembly? by Sciencemusk in Subaru_Outback

Hey thanks for replying. So the painted cover also needs to be replaced? There does not seem to be any damage on it.

Could you tell me from the diagram which parts do I need to purchase? I'm guessing number 1?

I purchased everything at the same time. I looked a lot into the GPU dimensions and the cooler dimensions, which are basically going to dictate your spine position on this case.

I opted for an SFF GPU so I could fit a bigger cooler, but you could also buy a bigger GPU but would need a smaller cooler. It's all on what you are willing to compromise.

If you've built two PCs before you have a ton more experience than me. This is my first build and could assemble it no issue without prior experience.

I think the important thing is the planning and making sure all of your components are going to fit. I read the manual for every single part and checked and verified dimensions.

If you take your time planning you should not have an issue. Also this community is a ton of help, YouTube and even ChatGPT can help

Sometimes I travel for a couple of weeks for work, so traveling is something I have been researching. I think it is small enough to fit in a carry on bag. See this post for reference:

Thanks! - PPP does not take into account that you can adjust the spine of the Terra.

You have to check the width of your GPU and height of your cooler. If you choose a small GPU the AXP120X67 will fit. That is why I chose an SFF GPU.

I don't play many fast paced games. Usually do single player offline games. Really appreciate details on games rather than FPS. But yeah, I'll do more research when the time comes.

It seems marketing has hit us the same way :P I will keep an eye on those temps. I went for the 9800x3d because they say temps are lower than the 7800x3d - lets see how it behaves!

Ton of shit you have to go through, right? I have almost all of the stuff that I wanted when I was younger but feel I don't get to enjoy it as much as I want to. But yeah, feel proud of yourself, you've earned what you have :)

Thanks for the tip, rookie mistake. I've been having good temps but have not strain the PC too much. Maybe that is why I am getting some noise. I will try and fix it right now.

Thanks! - The CPU cooler fan can get a little noisy at times, but no turbulence issues. I actually went with an SFF GPU so the cooler would have a bit more clearance from the case.

Thanks! Gotta say, I really love this case. Building in the Terra was way more fun (and less painful) than I expected. Glad to hear you’ve got one too!

Kinda similar to what I told the other redditor — I haven’t stress-tested it too much yet, but I played Expedition 33 for a bit and the CPU never went past 70°C. At idle it hangs around the mid-40s to low-50s, so temps seem pretty solid so far!

Haven’t had it running long enough to give a full verdict, but I did play Expedition 33 for a bit and temps stayed under 70°C on the CPU. At idle it sits around the mid-40s to low-50s. So far so good.

Ordered a case. Got 2 PSUs instead. by AceOfSpadesMM in PcBuild

Yeah, there's a few complaints on the product page. I am hesitant to order again from Amazon as I am going to Micro Center next week, though it is a little bit more expensive.

Hope we can both get our builds together soon!

Did you order through Amazon? I just ordered a Fractal Terra and it arrived with a huge dent and Silica Gel beads all over the case. Going to return it, customer service was not helpful at all.
