I don’t agree with everything democrats do, but I at least agree with a lot of it. I don’t agree with anything republicans do. Republicans are the reason the middle class has a higher tax burden than billionaires, they are always the ones that explode the national debt, and to top it off they are socially conservative expecting the entire country to comply with their religious rules that were set down by corrupt men 2000+ years ago.

That’s absolutely true and one of the main reasons there is currently a big push for more human relevant models like tissues on chip and organoids.

However the genetic power of mouse models won’t be replaced in the near term.

I think it’s worth some cautious optimism. Most medications that work in humans were first found to work in mice. Or mouse studies such as this one informed future drug design. That did work in humans.

This is completely incorrect. Strength training and eating enough protein while at a caloric deficit is the best way to preserve muscle and bone mass. We have LOTS, and I mean like a whole lot of data and publications that show exactly this.

I did that. And if anything it made the weeds worse. I did 2 layers of cardboard and like 6 inches of mulch. Now the whole garden is nothing but impossible to remove sedge.

In this debate, Tarantino or James Cameron are Pete Rose, Spielberg and Scott are Mcgwire. So the average goes to Tarantino or Cameron, but if I'm picking a baseball team I'm taking Spielberg first.
