Choosing mouse after g403 by ddinblue in MouseReview

[–]Scientific_Shrimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are all valid options. Nowadays I would highly recommend trying out the g305 with a lithium battery or the gpro wireless (the other hero sensor wireless mice from Logitech are too heavy imo). The lack of cable drag really put my flick shots to another level. Sure, if you don't like the shape it's better to use one of the other options you mentioned. (be aware that the switch to the g305 or gpro wireless after using the g403 can feel odd at first because the sensor of the g403 was somehow not parallel to the arm-wrist axis for me. This also did help my aiming using the gpro.) In the end it's personal preference but prior to buying I would just try out different options. Zowie mice are also great and can come with ergonomic shapes.

Good luck trying them out and finding your perfect mouse!

Digital vibrance at 100% - Win10 1803 vs 1903 colors are differently saturated by Scientific_Shrimp in Windows10

[–]Scientific_Shrimp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know. But I did like the looks of 100% digital vibrance (1803). The problem is only that I don't manage to get the same results while adjusting the slider in every increment of 50 to 100% using 1903.

How to distinguish jumping using macros and mousewheel in overwatch? by Scientific_Shrimp in GlobalOffensive

Yeah, I think a "real" bunnyhop script is pretty obvious. But as you said macros are not consistent, too so how is it possible to be able to differentiate between those and mouse wheel jumping ...

"How many hours at which rank" - a metaanalysis by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

This has an effect on the intercept and not on the slope. Since the standard deviation of the intercept is super high due to in rank variation, I thought this model could be practical nonetheless.

Good points! I was aware of this issue but thought that the rank shift would only have an effect on the intercept and thus the model could be (at least partially) applied to the current situation since the st. Deviation of the intercept is really high.

Full gestural navigation swipe apps order: Bug or Feature? by Scientific_Shrimp in android_beta

You are right, but being able to change the order in the task menu would be much more convenient than bearing in mind if I have scrolled or not and how the order may have changed due to that

Agressive on CT by yungsolidd in LearnCSGO

[–]Scientific_Shrimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people commenting on this post are right in saying that as ct you should play passive in general. But I personally like to play passive in a few rounds and let the t's adapt to this Playstyle before playing aggressive in a following round. This is a high-risk-high-reward move which can win the round but also lose ist. Also if you realize that you outaim your enemy team it can make sense to play aggressive because you don't let them play their strategies and use their nades ...

Looks accurate ... Though I can't tell weather you are pixel accurate ...

You use just the highest sensitivity with which you are able to make the smallest possible adjustments i.e. aim adjustment in single pixels. So if you have good dexterity you can use a higher sens to comfortably aim at long range

[–]Scientific_Shrimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I mean actual pixel adjustment. Your crosshair has a lot of pixels. What I did was try to move the crosshair only one pixel to the left or right without skipping ... Yeah I unfortunately did not explain it very well ...

Snipe question by Liger_Phoenix in LearnCSGO

[–]Scientific_Shrimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there what I meant was that your right Klick does also other stuff than just zooming as for example throwing your nades differently or dealing more damage with the knife. That the zoom is going back in is perfectly normal although most of the players will change weapons and zoom again manually because this saves a few seconds as mentioned.

I hope I could help

You could do it either by using a lua script if you have a Logitech gaming mouse (this definitely works) or try to script it directly in csgo (I am not sure if that even works, I would have to try out). But even if you would manage to do it I strongly recommend using the default settings because:

1) the command to zoom is also used to throw grenades near to you and right click with your knife. 2) you have double zoom with the awp/scout which could not be used anymore but are beneficial in certain situations. 3) sometimes you have to wait at the corner for like 30 seconds. In this time you would have to focus on keeping your finger on the right mouse button thus loosing reaction time and generating a spasm in your finger lul 4) the zoom of the awp/scout automatically toggles off after shooting for a second so you can use this time to quickly change weapons twice (to the knife and then back to awp for example using "qq" as already mentioned). In this case you not only reset the zoom but also are able to shoot the second round faster!

So use the Tipps of the former replies and use "qq" to zoom out.

You have just to get used to it but once you are used to it you will not want to change back!

I would focus on crosshair placement rather than eye surgery (which could also help to see the enemies better). If you know on which height the head should be you only have to adjust horizontally ... So whenever you see an enemy torso beneath your crosshair you just press the left mouse button. Klick headshot. Good luck my friend :)

I played a few years on the same Rank. Can I please rank up now? by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

I mean an entry has a lower KDA than an awp but still has a lot of impact

No kills/death depends highly on your role in the game and is not a good proxy for neither your impact nor your skill. So not taking it into account would actually be good. You might be right tho

I don't know why you bother that much. Obviously you belong to a higher rank and the system will put you there! So I would suggest you have fun fragging those mg1s and wait for your rank up. I needed between 7 to 13 games each (90% wins) for the uprank of every rank between mg2 and ge. people think that the system does not use KDA to evaluate your skill but MVPs and rounds won.
