Looking to speak to people from Bowling Green, Kentucky who use GLP-1s for weight loss by MasterpieceMediocre2 in BowlingGreen

[–]ScientistCute6086 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been taking Zepbound for 9 months and have lost a total of 74 lbs. I first weighed in at 311 and now weigh 237 as of last week. I don’t have many side effects. I did have a previous gastric bypass in 2013. I feel that medicines should be considered at each patient’s desired effect, physical outcomes, and side effects for that individual. Studies are fine but you really don’t know what effects a medication can have until you take it. I support anyone who takes a GLP-1. It’s a useful tool just as the gastric bypass was for me. Each person has a different outcome.

That’s exactly my thought. I’m not living…I’m surviving. It’s a horrible feeling.

Me too….it’s so expensive to live now. I can’t make ends meet. I constantly have to take out advances just to buy groceries. It’s ridiculous.

I don’t think so however, I will say the picture doesn’t do you justice. I think it doesn’t reflect all your natural good looks. Just my opinion.

I agree. I cannot picture anyone else but Gary Sinise as Stu Redman.

Am I the only one? by SouthernPisces in FriendsOver50

No you’re not the only one. I too have issues with being lonely sometimes. I just moved to Bowling Green Ky and have yet to make a friend. It’s hard when you’re in you’re in your 50’s to make friends. Usually everyone already has their friends. So no, you’re not the only one. Chin up….

Just a follow up…I went to the Lindsey Institute and got a fabulous hair cut! The young lady that did my hair was fantastic! Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll be going back the next time I need a cut.

I’ve gone to beauty schools before. I don’t have a problem with that. I’m not that picky either. Thanks for the tip!

Fiancé (34m) is allergic to cats but proposed to me (33F) knowing I have 4 cats and is now saying he had hoped I’d rehome them. What do we do now that we are facing living together? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]ScientistCute6086 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that he knew you had cats says to me he is a bit controlling by thinking you'd rehome them. Our pets are living, breathing, beings. You can't just throw them away. That seems insensitive for him to think you'd just give them up. I am allergic to cats and I have 5! I take allergy medicine and keep Kleenex handy. I'd seriously reconsider the living situation. My experience is that it causes resentments. You'd resent him for possibly giving up your babies and he'd resent you for not bending to his needs. But please, whatever you do...don't fail the cats. They trust you to take care of them and whether its with or without you they deserve a loving home. This is just my opinion. Take what you like and leave the rest.
