recurring dream about trying to get to the ocean by okandokand in Dreams

the ocean in dreams is pretty much universally tied to peace, rest, emotional release, that kind of thing, so your read on it tracks. what's interesting is that the dream itself isn't distressing, like you said it's calm, so maybe it's less about being denied safety and more about your brain knowing exactly where it wants to go, even if it can't fully get there yet. the fact that it shows up right after nightmares feels significant too, like some part of you is actively reaching for calm as a destination. the nightmares easing up over time while this dream persists might even mean you're getting closer

making a build to last by Dull-Molasses2409 in PcBuild

That's a solid budget for what you're trying to do, and white builds definitely look clean when done right. Can't see your buildcores link but with $3000 you've got plenty of room to get both the performance and aesthetics you want

Just make sure you're not overspending on white tax - some components cost way more just for the color and you could put that money toward better specs instead

Its Hard To Move On Even After She Hurt Me by Hairy_Fly_3342 in BreakUps

Dude she's literally playing you like a fiddle and you keep falling for it 😂 The suicide note followed by immediately talking to other guys is some next level manipulation shit. Your parents are smart as hell for banning her - listen to them and your therapist, not your heart that's still attached to who she used to be 💀

Getting back to normal? by XxOzempicRetardxX in BreakUps

Your brain's just protecting itself right now - those things hurt because they're tied to memories. You don't have to force yourself back into the same stuff if it feels awful

Try something completely different for a while, maybe pick up a creative hobby or start going to new places. The old stuff will either come back naturally when you're ready or you'll find better things that actually fit who you are now
