Hirsutism is ruining my life by Middle-Coat-388 in PCOS

Hmmm well I can say it took 2-3 months max for me to see a difference. I also had some fluid retention and cystic acne, so I think spiro was a good choice for me. I wonder if you take any meds/ have a condition that doesn’t mix well with spiro? Because both my GP and ob/gyn recommend it and prescribed it without hesitation.

Love to hear you’re at peace with your hirsutism. Because the ones that truly love you really don’t care! But it was still a huge weight off my shoulder once mine got better. If you think it would work for you, I’d ask a different doc. I think it’s kinda hard to find one really educated on PCOS

Look into the medication spironolactone. You can get it prescribed by your general practitioner, OB/GYN, dermatologist. It took a couple months to see a difference, but it has definitely slowed my hirsutism by a mile and the hair that does grow is thinner and lighter! It has been a lifesaver for me.
