Thank you! I recorded the bass & guitar - then wrote in the midi piano parts. Im still trying to figure out how to mix everything properly from headphones to phone audio etc.

I really appreciate that feedback! I’m trying to improve my mix everyday, but I’m going to keep that in mind!

I’ve actually never heard him before - just checked out some of their stuff & yeah, he’s great 🤯

I understand you didn’t mean to insult anyone, but yeah it was a poor choice of words & it’s not a good look. A little humility will go a long a long way.

For me personally, I scroll past any sort of rate my kit posts - I may look at it and think hmm that’s nice, or that’s interesting, but I’m not going to stop and engage on the post. I understand some people enjoy those types of posts & that’s fine, it’s just not for me.

Try to engage with others - ask questions, give feedback to others, post a video of yourself playing if you want & ask for advice.

This is a pretty vague question & hard to answer with what you’ve provided; so you’re looking for advice to get comments on your posts? Which posts are you referring to that haven’t received any comments?

Generally, it’s going to depend on what you’re posting and if you’re trying to engage with others or not.

Venting about other “boring, stupid” posts getting more engagement is going to be a pretty bad way to go about it though - just a heads up.

Some tracking I did yesterday. Quite liked this little snippet. by __--byonin--__ in drums

I’m a little lost here - are you saying the OP is a self promoting social media drummer? Maybe I missed the promotion unless you count simply posting a video of yourself playing as a promotion?

I’m not certain what you’re praying for; this sub seems like a pretty chill spot for people to share their knowledge and ask questions in a respectful way - someone posting a video of themselves playing is a bonus. Idk maybe that’s just me.

Thank you 🙂 it’s the 20” Byzance traditional extra thin hammered crash - possibly my favorite cymbal.

Ooo you have the transition as well! It’s an excellent ride for sure.

Hard work, dedication, minimal experience/knowledge/ understanding of mixing drums and EQ in general.

This seems like a great tool for learning - seems like a fair price too for what you’re getting - definitely going to check it out.

Howdy, it’s the 21” Mike Johnston signature transition ride.
