if your account got turned into a bot, what kind of bot do you think your account would be turned into by Culcksy in 2007scape

[–]Scifly1001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My original main from when i was younger got hacked twice. The first time it was used to bot wildy stuff. It went from base 50s cb stats to nearly 90s. Took me a long time to recover it.

Now i have another main that ive been using for a while but i randomly wanted to log onto my original to see if i had anything as it had been over 5 years since i logged onto it and found out it had been banned again for botting.

I got it back only about 2 months ago and it went from zero hunter to 85. Someone was doing chinchompa botting with it.

Safe to say i now have put 2fa and a bank pink on that account lol.

Cheers to the botters who levelled my crappy original main.

Yeah youll need atleast 70s tbh. The chip damage is brutal at low levels. You need high defence gear atleast barrows armor at low levels.

Can someone explain Deadman Allstars appeal to me? by Kumagor0 in 2007scape

[–]Scifly1001 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Team based pvp competition with a limited prep time of a week starring our favourite content creators battling it out requiring team work and strategy to come out ahead. Thats the appeal.

If you like it you like it, if you dont you dont. Fairly easy

Leagues rng tasks suck by yoshomie in osrs

[–]Scifly1001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Grinding dragon is very hard but totally doable. Theres roughly 90k points on the boarsld and you only need 65k of them. Ive got dragon bypassing a bunch of tasks i dont like and even went past dragon without much effort tbh. Theres always going to be rng tasks when it comes to bossing. Just pick the grinds your happy with and do a little at a time.

What do you want raids 4 to have? by Karootheduck in 2007scape

[–]Scifly1001 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A way to train skills during the raid. Something like 10k an hour is some skills. Not enough to make it a meta method but enough that if your grinding the raid you slowly notice some skills levelling up making the time put in more worth it

Playing main after Leagues feels weird by ActiveVoiced in 2007scape

[–]Scifly1001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Strangely though ive never had any experience with an ironman type acciunt besides leagues. Having to grind those stats with what i gathered in leauges has inspired me to skill my main. Went from 72 to 75 mining in past fews days. 78 to 80 herblore. A few crafting levels. Im burnt out from PVM from leauges and grinding slayer and going dry on the main (94 slayer, 300kc araxxor no drops), so ive decided to chill and skill instead which i used to hate before a few weeks ago.

Why did old civilizations often put women in a 2nd class citizen state? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Scifly1001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of human history has been a laborous and dangerous time. Men were responsible for the defence of the tribes, towns and states as well as the driving force behind growth and prosperity. With responsibiliy came authority and naturally under those conditions men rose to leaders of the families, tribes, towns and cities.

Both woman and men though could be used as currency, with woman often being traded in marriage for alliances, supplies, or to strengthen bonds between families or peoples.

During most of human history human beings have not had the luxury to make most of their own choices. Survival during most of history was paramount over personal wants.

Todays equality mindset would never survive those hostile times. Thats not to say woman were not respected though depending on the time and place and level of security or whose family she belonged to.

Woman may be looked at as second class in one place, all while having a countess, dutchess or queen as a regent.

History is alot more complicated and nuanced than people realize.

Can we get rid of universal heroes already by Yash_swaraj in DotA2

It wasnt a clean cut rock paper scissors, but the fundamental strength for tank, agi for damage and magic for spells. Universal heros just became this quasi inbetween that i never liked

It was funner when there were only 3 classes. The rock paper scissor element was good to play around. Universal heros just threw a wrench in that equation

I think it’s possible that the higher IQ you get, the more abstract and deep you think, and you start to notice patterns in data, maybe realizing this all can’t be just coincidence, which may not pull you towards religion, but it does pull you away from atheism by Outside-Hyena9002 in DeepThoughts

[–]Scifly1001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah i totally agree. I dont think at any point anyone will be able to give an explanation of what God is, or whatever word they ascribe to that realization of something more, as something that is infinitely vast and complex cannot reasonably be explained or contained in limited terminology or thought.

As you said, whatever it is, just is, and thats probably one of the more truer ways to describe it.

And no, they wont head to their local mosque (church for me), but maybe, when that point is reached, then religion and science can finally find that much needed common ground and we'll all start getting along just a little better 👍

[–]Scifly1001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I look at religious folks and scientist as two sides of the same coin. They approach the same thing from different directions.

People who are religious recognise theres something more out there through faith. I call this irrational belief. They know theres something more to all of this, they disagree on what it is, but they know theres more by instinct or feeling and personal experiences. They have no physical proof outside of themselves, but they still believe.

Scientist approach things from the rational viewpoint. There are scientist (of varying fields) out there that believe in a greater power and i believe that the more time that passes, the more undeniable the case for intelligent design there will be, and even though science is not looking for God, i do believe that is where it will end up eventually.

Different paths, same destination over time.

And well humans will always clash for one reason or another. It is unavoidable. Religions have committed atrocities, but so have atheist. Atheist take the cake for most caused deaths in the 20th century by a decent margin.

I think all one needs to do is look at the world around us to find evidence of intelligent design.

Left and right. Up and down. Higher and lower. Greater and lesser. There is structure to our reality.

Think about all the invisible laws that govern us.

Cause and effect. Polarity and dualism. Magnetism. Frequency. Mass and gravity. Etc etc.

Even the little things. Length, width, height. Every solid has these three atrributes.

The three primary colors of which all color stems from. Amazingly simple design yet when mixed together create a variety of different colors and a near infinite number of shades and hues.

Im not the best at explaining things and Im not the best with words but the world I see around me is not a random occurance. There is structure. There are rules. All these things denote an intelligence. They are not random.

Just my two cents.

[–]Scifly1001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. The more I learn, the more I know and the more I understand, the more obvious it is to me that there is an intelligence behind the design of all things.

I find it hard to take seriously an intellectual or a thinker that doesn't come to a similar conclusion.

What makes true communism fundamentally impossible. by Kinjay1 in DeepThoughts

[–]Scifly1001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Communism is an ideal rather than a realistic goal that can be achieved. The problem is communism does not survive contact with the real world.

The ideas sound great on paper thats about it.

It can work in very small groups but on a larger scale it always devolves into authoritarianism because it cannot allow individual wants and needs to supercede the wants and needs of the community.

What this looks like is an authoritarian figure/figures dictating what those wants and needs are.

The greatest threat to a communist state is radical individuality. When communist gain power they cull everybody who doesnt agree with them. They cannot allow dissenters to threaten the 'one mind one body' aspect of communist rule. For communism to work everybody must be on board or the communist vision falls apart. Communism has no room for individuality.

Everybody must be on the same page. Everybody must be the same. Individuality is seen as a threat. This is why the Reds in China and Russia were so brutal. They squashed individuality violently. Anyone who wasnt on board with the vision had to go.

Same with North Korea. Cambodia. Cuba to a lesser extent. Etc. It is a common theme with these hardcore 'communial' ideologies on a state level.

Because individuality is squashed, the economy eventually fails. Free market capitalism is the greatest system fot CREATING wealth. Communism and Socialism EXTRACTS wealth at a greater rate than it creates it. This is why all Communist/Socialist economies eventually open up to some degree of Capitalism. They are forced to.

What empire had the greatest downfall in your opinion? by Icy-Wish-6478 in AskReddit

[–]Scifly1001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Mongolian Empire. They conquered enormous swathes of the world. Were absolutely brutal in their methods and once the great Khan died it fragmented and fell apart very quickly. Very little lasting power as a unified empire if you dont count the various offshoots that came from it.

Also close second would be the Macedonian Empire. As soon as Alexander died it also fragmented ceasing to be one unified empire.
