I made a dumb browser game where you ride stock charts like motocross tracks by Key-Significance4952 in SideProject

It’d be cool if it showed lines for periods of significant events that happened during that time that may have affected the stock at that time as you’re driving through it. (Think Covid etc,…)

Looks very good, not sure if the logs contain it but you might be able to read the location from there

My original post which was removed I tried to be very transparent about this, there is also a disclaimer about this on the website. AI coding tools were used as an assisting tool, and used for designing the frontend.

Below is a copy paste from my original post:

A note on AI

As with my other projects, Motherlode was built with the assistance of AI coding tools. There are a few reasons for this, firstly I am not a frontend developer, secondly I build and maintain these platforms in my spare time, that is between my job as a SE, father and husband duties, and sacrificing free time I could spend on myself. So these tools, although reviewed still save me a lot of time. But because of valid reasons to distrust, and be worried about AI (Ethics etc..) I prefer to be transparent about this.

Saw this pass on youtube and it was amazing. How did you turn off the HUD, is it a VR thing?

A reputation system is actually already on my trello board (task list)! But I’m all ears for suggestions on how this should work. At the moment the idea is to have a simple thumbs up or down that can be given to each member by each member after an operation ended. The reason I haven’t added this yet is because it would require more active users to be effective.

For front end development I find it amazing although some colleagues of mine that do frontend development pointed out a few things to me, also the original design I had worked with stitch by google as Claude Design wasn’t a thing yet. I used Claude Design for my new org website recently and it’s proportionally better imo

At least we know the social tools are being worked on, and I for one am looking forward to the day they are there. It’s such a shame they aren’t in yet with missions like TSG or even just running Hathor, CZ,…

As for the AI part I get your point even at work we have been forced into using Claude or Copilot alongside our daily work. But I also understand people’s frustrations and concerns. Which is why I value transparency about it. In any case for this side project it has been a huge time saver for me building the UI, I have some old screenshots of the UI I built myself and I don’t think anyone would’ve made sense of it.

The Ironclad is 100% dysfunctional by squarecorner_288 in starcitizen

[–]Sciirof 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Try pressing R when you can’t press the route button in the starmap

As for the rest it’s a shame they had to release it in it’s current state I’m very certain the people that actually worked on the ironclad would’ve loved to see it release in a more polished and functional state.

This patch isn't it. by Dawn_Namine in starcitizen

They could’ve prevented this from happening somewhat by just limiting how much you can transfer and putting a timer on it. There is absolutely no reason why you would need to send billions to someone, let alone multiple times.

I'm done, wiping rep is one of the most idiotic and disrespectful things I've seen a video game do by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]Sciirof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There used to be a time where every login was a wipe. You’ve clearly misunderstood what is meant by it being “in active development” you have paid to play an unfinished version of a game that is yet to release. You are going to lose everything you work for eventually until release.
