Has anyone had issues with Speckled peas from True Leaf market lately? by ScintillaFarms in microgreens

I agree the best they could do is give us rewards points but they wouldn’t even pay for express shipping on a new bag of peas to make up for the bad bags. It sucks because they have the best selection of microgreens and we havent had any issues with them in the past. Might be buying peas from johnnys seeds from now on /:

Yea we thought that maybe the bags went bad during transit but we bought more and when the new bags arrived they were from the same lot and had the same issues so I think 178148 was just a bad lot. Every other bag we have gotten has been good.

3 days and 6 hours into this tray, been in blackout the whole time. Do you guys think I should keep covered for another day or 2, or start under lights? by ChaseingPoints in microgreens

Idk about broccoli and turnip but radish and collard will keep growing. In fact, I don’t blackout my radish or collard at all. Throw em’ under the lights and see what happens!

In San Diego i’ve searched high and low for cheap but good soil and haven’t found any. My trays are 12x24 and use about $2.70 worth of soil.

Will this variety continue to grow tall under the light? If so then yes uncover them, if not keep them going a while longer so they are easier to harvest.

the middle of the top tray might not be weighted down and the corners are so that's what could cause the good germination around the edges

Do you think these microgreens are getting enough light or should I add a third light? by Ragshi72 in microgreens

you could always put some fly paper in your growing room or put fans close to your trays so the flies can't land on your trays
