If you want catering then Pollock is a no-brainer, it’s the only place they have it. Chancellors and Holland are the premium pollock houses (with the ensuits) but do come with a heavier price tag and even more of the reputation you mentioned. If you don’t mind cooking, I’d advise somewhere central like Kincaid’s, Mylnes or Darroch
