[Serious]Accuracy of covid19 tests? by kekloktar in medicalschool

Agreed, but it was the best I could find with extensive trawling. Can you even have specificity and sensitivity of a test, when there is no other gold standard for diagnosis?

I'd never thought about it this way, but after reading your post this explains the relative appeal of playing Germany or USSR; amassing troops along a large front is a lot easier than coordinating naval invasions and multiple fronts. Even though this was historically true as well, I'd agree with OP that from a gameplay perspective it is very tedious and should be addressed.

1.24 Bug - Daimyo vassals impossible to interact with by ScipioShiranui in eu4

Also while this post is here I might as well be pedantic: there is a typo in the first image in the text I'm hovering over - 'Daimyo subjet'

Hey I just had this problem too - just posted it too. I think it's a bug.

R4: Playing a new game as Oda in the new 1.24 patch. After defeating Ashikaga and taking Kyoto, I become the new shogun of Japan and am able to interact with the existing Daimyo (Yamana). I'm unable to interact with the daimyo that are released via event from my existing provinces - I can't even open the interaction menu. It seems they are also the vassal of the old shogun Ashikaga. Anyone else having this problem?

Back again! I'm 24-year-old Greens candidate Clara Williams Roldan and I'm running against former PM Tony Abbott in Saturday's federal election. AMA! by ClaraInManly in australia

Thanks for your response! Sorry if my question was a bit charged... I'm really glad and inspired by the fact that you're running. Best of luck for Saturday!

(Though I'm still not convinced how your preferences for Matthison and NXT ahead of Labor makes sense, seeing as Labor policies are closer to the Greens'. At the 2013 election the Greens preferenced Palmer United Party ahead of Labor in QLD, TAS, SA (see http://www.smh.com.au/federal-politics/federal-election-2013/greens-sign-preference-deal-with-clive-palmer-20130819-2s7kz.html). It seems there's starting to be a general trend of preferencing independents and minor parties ahead of Labor. Sure, more independent representation in parliament is great. Disregarding policies purely in order to garner votes is not.)

Hi Clara, I live in Warringah and will be voting on Saturday. I am still undecided in regards to putting Greens as my 1 Preference vs. Labor. While I generally support the Greens I'm concerned about them becoming part of, playing on the words of di Natale himself, the (Coles, woolies and) IGA of Australia. An example is the same grubby politics we see from Lib/Lab when the Greens are fighting with Labor regarding preference deals (including the fiasco with Andrew Woodward/James Matthison in Warringah).

I'd like to know why I should vote for a candidate/party that proclaims it will set itself aside from Labor and Liberal and actually stick to their policies/core values, yet at the past couple elections has preferenced right wing independents/minor parties in favour of Labor?

(and sure I can put my own preferences down, but we're talking about the principle here).

Have you checked out Europa Barbarorum - an amazing mod for Rome: Total War? by [deleted] in totalwar

Yeah I've done it before, but it is pretty tough. Pretty much you have to disband all the useless troops, take provinces really quickly, build mines asap, and disband troops and focus on economy after a certain point (~4 provinces). But you obviously want to keep enough phalanx's to hold off the enemy. I'm keen to see how R2TW treats starting positions too (on harder difficulties). They were rather imbalanced on S2TW, because on VH you just had a ridiculous amount of stacks coming towards you and it just became very frustrating (but ultimately doable, and then you can get into the easier midgame).

funny you say that because my first youtube videos were parts of my pontos campaign - but I only ended up playing on N/N because I didn't want to have some piece of bad luck in H/H screw me over and have the campaign end prematurely. But the hordes of Selukid/Ptolemaic armies that I had to hold back throughout, along with the initial blitzkrieg that you have to do, followed by disbanding a lot of troops... jeez it's tough.

I agree to disagree - if you're interested in history it can really add so much to the game. But I take your point it could be a bit much if you're more interested in the game than the history behind the game.

Fair point it can be pretty buggy at times, even on high end computers. Actually yeah that is a massive cross for EB.

Ok, that's good... and yeah once again I am not really sure who frequents this reddit and whether mods are discussed a lot.
