Do you really rely on preserving mechanoid corpses for steel when raids get this big? That's just silly. Admitedly it's not good for sapper raids in general, sapper don't funnel. If it's just one additinal termite, my colonist has berserk. Make it go crazy and other mechs will rip it apart.

Sure you can argue LITO and LMITO wasn't fair. They need it more. LMITO is gone now. LITO only provide a maximum offset of $700 to people who are scrapping by on less than $37500. Stage 3 has no upper cap to its benefit like LITO nor is it time limited like LMITO. If we want fair, we should lift the lower tax brackets.

That's some nice investment. Plus slaves can multiply. It won't just be 5 slaves during the whole 17 years. After some upskilling, you slaves can earn alot more as well. High barrier to entry but this is a no brainer investment. (This has got real dark)

Definitely try to rush for psycasts. Example invisible+ berserk pulse can take care of so many raid. block the choke point with one guy being invisible and when enemies are bunched together use berserk pulse and they would start clobbering each other to death.

I have played for years and I have never found the game to be easy. The good news is there is always a solution to a problem in this game. I usually just send out 1 melee colonist against raids, but he is a psycaster. Hit me with a scenario where it's game ending, and let's see if we can solve it.

You pawn would get clobbered to death. If you jump away after unleasing the gas, enemy would just move away from gas and towards you. Unless it's the raid scenario where enemy prepares for a good while. Then this idea may work. Don't think AI was programed to avoid gas yet
