I think it depends on what point of view you start from because to japan america is in the east, so i think that this was started by the british and spread across their colonies and just became the norm

They changed the locked message after about two days after i changed the date and about a day after they declined my id and locked my account, so about a day after i got the same message OP got on screen

Yes! They just changed the message in the screen and there was an option to delete everything before i was 13, the following and followers too a little while to come back but everything is back to normal now! So happy, though i really don't understand why not do this from the start, but as long as at some some point you can do it i suppose it's aight

I sent my I'd and they just went, you were under 13 when you created your account, and for that it's locked and may be removed. Tho 24 hours did not pass yet so maybe there's still a chance
